Basically, what old figures do you think are still good figures?

I'll start. Spawn Dark Ages: The Raider. The "real hair" is kind of lame but you still won't find a better centaur guy after almost 20 years (1998). All things considered I still really like this figure.

I like all my figures since childhood. They are all "good". My favorite are still the og Star Wars figures but GI Joe, MOTU, Transformers, Shogun Warriors, all pretty sweet.

ToyBiz LOTR: The Prologue Elven Warrior (2002). Figure still kicks ass.

GI Joe Sigma 6. I recently messed with them, and they are still solid, fun toys with usually great and sometimes adorably silly accessories.

I have a modest size collection of original ninja turtles that I think still hold up. Their poseability has always sucked, but the play value is still there.

Most of the Tonka GoBots hold up really well if you're not a ham hands expecting a gymnastics performance out of them.

Off the top off my head...

    1. Star Wars (Hasbro)

For me, it has got to be Star Wars but those after a certain period...2006 to maybe 2012? Where they were released under various themes like 'Legacy', 'OTC', 'The Vintage Classics' and Saga Collection. I went back to my folks' house and took out a few of them for my kids to play...then it hit me how much better the toys were compared to now.

The plastics were better, more POA, big vehicles, extras, soft goods. Just looking at the play features of the Big Millennium Falcon and the Big AT AT showed how much effort Hasbro used to put in.

    2. Marvel Legends (Toy Biz)

Before I get killed (LOL) by anyone, I would like to stress that I'm only qualifying certain figures. They are:

    i) Wave 13 (Onslaught Wave)
    ii) Face-Off Series
    iii) The Sentinels BAF
    iv) Galactus BAF

    3. TMNT 2000 series (Play Mates)

The series where the Shredder was a Ultrom (spelling?). The figures were bigger, sense of mess and the paint apps were decent. Only issue were the limited articulation.

    4. Spawn

Again selected pieces. We had some gems in that line but the peak was the articulated 10th anniversary version of Spawn...

    5. Gundam Mobile Suit In Action

The later waves still look good and have good articulation. The only issue was that keep them out of the heat if not...they're be gummy! LOL!
