They claim to have shipped my Galvatron today, if I am lucky it will arrive by tomorrow evening as they claim. I’m sorry but that’s some justification BS. Selling $20 figures for $80-$90 each isn’t “providing a service”, it’s exploitation. Transformers aren’t really hot with scalpers but other toy lines like GI Joe and Star Wars have become almost impossible to find in store because of greedy people scooping everything up to flip for insane profits on eBay. They’re killing the hobby and people who “can’t get out” would be able to order their figures through numerous online retailers who charge at or near retail if those same scalpers weren’t snatching all of those up too.
I bought a 25$ figure for 37 free shipping not sure but I don’t buy overpriced toys so.:: if nobody buys it they move on… Nobody is making anyone buy anything. So I’m not sure how they stay in business. I preorder everything so I don’t get in a bind.
25 + 2.25 tax + 10.34 shipping = 37.59 so the point is what exactly. BBTS Galvatron cost me 63.00 54 retail at Walmart. People always want something for nothing.
Assuming this really is a question, not rhetorical... 1. When you say "free shipping" you really mean $10.34 shipping cost. 2. When you say "a $25 figure" combined with "I paid $37" you really mean that paying about 50% more than what you said it's cost is does NOT equate to that purchase being "overpriced" because you don't do that. Therefore, 3. When you say: It really means this is just as true as your other 2 assertions. "The point" was the self-contradictions, and that @TFPSoundwave is correct. And getting on-topic: Found 1 Kingdom Rhinox and like 3 or 4 Galvatron/Magnus @ WM off of highways 412 and 97. Took the Maximal and a Leader class home.
There is no such thing as free shipping the shipping is always figured into the cost of whatever you buy on eBay my point is if you pay $90 for Galvatron on eBay then you are being scalped I do not pay for overpriced stuff I figure cost plus tax plus shipping and how much gas it would cost me to go hunt plus lunch and if it’s not worth my time I use eBay… not everyone on eBay as a scalper.

Three Rhinoxes and two Cyclonuses at the Walmart on NW Expressway. Think they also have one more Galvatron on the stock cart ready to go out. They also had two GI Joe Classified Flints. Nothing too interesting TF wise at the nearby Target, but they did have the MOTU Revelation Skelegod and Battle Cat if anyone’s looking.

Definitely. When I was on my Galvatron hunt the Moore and Norman Targets inventory said they had one each but no one could find him. I bet he was in a freezer or something....
Norman was -1 inventory. Moore was 0 on hand 3 expected Tuesday. Which means they didn’t expect it and sold it Friday. Midwest City had 3 on hand and couldn’t find them. The employees told me the obsessed collectors do indeed hide them till payday… or until they can return something miss boxed for money. Happens all the time. They find them in the strangest places.
Oh this was the week of the 21st that Norman and Moore were supposed to have one each. When I had that whole debacle of one Moore employee telling me they had 4 Galvatrons in stock but weren't putting them out until 7/1, and then that same day another guy told me they sold all 4 of those because the figure wasn't streetdated. Then told me they SHOULD have had one but obviously it wasn't there. I don't expect them to know everything but damn was it inconsistent.
I was through Moore/Norman this morning. The Targets were pretty bare but I-35 Walmart in Norman had 3x Ultra Magnus with no sign of BW Megs or Galvatron. No telling which case they got. Also had one SS Grindor w/Ravage, which means Slag might have been there? Not sure what the current SS leader case is. +-MWG-+
