Uncharted

All new and factory sealed etc from Amazon. Ok first, no-one tell the missus the price and second, YAY! I finally have one with a good bunch of games at good price  

I still have my PS2 so the lack of backwards-compatability won't bother me at all. I wanted a PS3 for its exclusive titles.

I just wanted to share and squee with happiness

To squee just yell in a high pitched feverish manner as if overly excited and you can't contain it  

And yeah I feel I got a great deal, and pretty pleased with it. The fact its a blu ray player also totally justifies the price in my head

Koji, some recommendations that might not standout from the getgo are Little Big Planet, Flower, and Wipeout HD (through the online store). And this month Fat Princess comes out.... Just watch the video and you'll know what I mean.

Oooh Fat Princess already sounds good, wikipedia mentions classes such as Warriors & Mages etc, thats totally my thing, huzzah!


Also according to my brother (xbox fanboy) i'm now a traitor...yet he wants to suddenly come visit so he can waste away his weekend playing MGS 4  

 

Traitor? Nah. I'd rather consider myself a slut. Owning them both, I go with whoever has the games at the moment. So when mass effect 2 comes out I will cheat on PS3, but then when Uncharted 2 comes out, the 360 will take a break. The only one not getting any love this gen is the Wii, but that can easily change.

If we can get enough people playing Fat, it could be a royal blast.

Oh and give Infamous a shot. I haven't stayed up until 2-3AM in a long time. I seriously think that my fiance hates that game now.

Not really. Unless of course the slim has some extra functionality the normal model doesn't have like doing my laundry or paying my bills  

I will only be disappointed if the slim is a lot cheaper to purchase, but it won't be enough to make me regret it.

 

Not with Uncharted, Infamous, and MGS in the same box. Also, your current PS3 can pay your bills. I paid my electric bill on it once

Fuck me I really didn't know that. I'm going to end up bugging the shit out of people trying to find out everything I can do with it especially hooking my PS3 and PSP together.

(Yes even if it states how to do it all in the manual as who actually reads manuals apart from having reading material while dropping the kids off at the pool?)

 

and now the PS3 slim version will come out, that's the one I plan on getting

 

It has a competent enough browser that you can Youtube, Hulu, and play some flash games (no NES emulators yet though), but I play some RPG Flash games on it, though not often, and yes....pay your bills.

 

i use my ps3 as a heater as well, its pretty decent.
