I just picked up an MP Starscream (last one) at the TRU in Kenwood, even though I checked the "store pickup" option and it said that they didn't have any, so don't fully trust the online check.
Vindicated! Ha-ha! Guess who was on the shelf at Mentor's TRU? That's right, 1x Starscream! I win! Lady, suck it with your streetdate business. Suck it.
I guess from seeing all of these reports and scanning one myself off the shelf, there is no longer a street date on MP Starscream. 2 are on the shelf as of close at Mayfield Heights TRU. He's still $59.99... for now.
A couple Leader Megatrons (Armada), a Silverbolt, seemed to be a lot of combiner limbs (wasn't really paying attention to those to know specifics), and 4 MP Bluestreaks that have been there forever.

I can't even tell you how happy I was. Unfortunately, she wasn't on tonight, so I couldn't go and prove it to her. Believe me, I would've gone out of my way to take him up front to show her. Petty? I suppose, but I felt vindicated and wanted to rub it in a bit. Speaking of Mentor, the other mentionables in the sighting were as follows: A ton of wave 3 RID Warrior Class. (All of the TRU exclusive repaints were gone!) A ton of Voyager Class CW waves 1-3. (No Motormasters, heh.) 2 each of Hot Spot, 4 of Cyclonus, 1 of Optimus and 2 of Silverbolt. From what *I* counted, there were more Voyager boxes there, though. NO Megatronuses. Not a one. (Odd.) 1 Stomp N' Chomp Grimlock repaint. And, of course, Starscream. One Bluestreak as well. Nothing that really stood out to me in general. I'm not sure how they'll get rid of all that RID. There's a ridiculous amount there. *smh*
North Olmsted tru is a wasteland. MP blue streaks, 1x g1 megs, 4 armadas. North Olmsted target has 1x cw powl, 2x cw iron hide North Olmsted Walmart (had one hotspot-mine now) and 2x cyclonus.
Well finally got to use my TRU 15% off coupon on MP Bluestreak and additional $22.00 came off from a previous store credit. Now he is mine. Also, after Peaugh do a review of the wave 4 CW figures, I only like Mirage and Prowl - So if anyone see's Prowl, please PM me!! And I did find Mirage at my local Target along with Cyclonus!
anyone else who got mp starscream having problems getting the torso pushed down in robot mode? the little wedges on either side of the cockpit seem to be too thick to allow it fully into the body cavity.
That seems like a fairly common issue. I took the two screws out that hold the wings and upper torso out and bent the metal frame outwards. Now it slides up and down much better.
Phooey. I put a Silent Skystriker on layaway at Kenwood on Friday after work, and I saw zero evidence of Starscream. (Some idiot cut the window on 2 of the SilentStriker boxes and made off with the figures, so I bought one of them at reduced price.)
Anyone know the number for The Mystery shop up in Kettering? I would like to call before I drag a bunch of stuff up there to try to sell.
Just an FYI, Game Swap inside Tri-county mall did buy Transformers and just about anything else, depending on the condition of the item. I use to take alot of movie Transformers and some GI Joe (which now I regret with the Joe stuff) and they did give me a pretty good deal.
Is it me or does it seem that walmarts have stopped selling Transformers? Everywhere I go the shelves are always empty except a few Mini-Cons & One Steps and I have to go an hour to find a target or toys r us.
Possibly just an overabundance of collectors in your area? Wal-Marts here are behind as far as what's been released, but they have no shortage of past items. CW waves 2 and 3 are readily available. Check also your Meijer and Walgreens stores?
I only have Walmart, maybe it has to do with the fact we are one of the poorest counties? Wouldn't explain the abundance of Marvel Legends though.
