For shits and giggles I decided to go out again to see if I could find "middle finger" Crankcase. I found a Crankcase, but it was the "fingers clipped" version. Oh well, I didn't win the lottery. Here is what else I saw on the hunt: Target (Eastgate) - The DOTM toys took a back seat to the Cars 2 toys but at least Target put them out. They still had 1 Shockwave when I left. Wal-Mart (Milford) - No DOTM toys. They were rearranging the toy aisles when I was there. Wal-Mart blows. Meijer (Eastgate) - This is where I found Crankcase along w/ his wave mates Ratchet and Skids. They also have at least 2 Cyberverse Blackouts and Powerglides if you are interested in them. This is the only store where I saw those guys.
Columbus People: There is one DOTM Shockwave and Crankcase over at TRU on Groves and Hamilton. Besides that there are some DOTM Deluxes (including Starscream and Ratchet) some cyberverse figures, HA's, and Activators.
For those in Columbus, several Walmarts have NOT put out anything yet because of inventory and late resets this week. The Targets I went to were good to go but they received very little.
Picked up Sentinel Prime Sideswipe and Topspin at Colerain TRU... Left Voyager Prime and Ironhide, 3 Leader BB's, and a few deluxes.. Also Scored Crankcase and roadbuster from colerain meijer... Left Skids, BB, and ratchet... How do I know if I have the so called Recalled Crankcase?
Dang, any Topspins left at colerain TRU? I want his peg weapons for my shockwave! Also, did you find any Crankcases there too?
As far as I know, you can't tell unless you open it. My Crankcase (w/ chopped middle finger) only had tape on one side of the card (and it was slightly peeled off). Usually most carded deluxes I get have tape on both sides and the bottom. Maybe that could be a way to tell? Maybe they opened mine to fix the finger and repackaged him. I dunno.
Nope :/ I've only seen him and skyhammer once down at wadsworth walmart, even with them putting out today, all they had was wave 1
Thundercarcker was gone by the time I got there. They do have movie stuff out now. I grabbed the only skyhammer. Their is one shockwave kinda hidden in the corner. Also what is going on with crankcase? Is there some sort of variant?
I got the full middle finger version of Crankcase. Saw they were chopping the finger though from some deliveries.

I didn't find Shockwave at Stow Target, either. They did have a deluxe Starscream, though, which I hadn't seen before. I'll be going up to Streetsboro Target and Walmart tomorrow to look for Shockwave. If they don't have him there, I might just sit on my ass and wait for BlueAngel Bolt to spot one for me.
What a horrible day of looking. Alexis Road Meijer in Toledo had most of the first wave (I was looking for Shockwave though), sure, but the TRU on Alexis had only the basic HA figures, and Kmart on Manhattan had NOTHING. I'm going to try the TRU on Monroe tomorrow...
Today, TRU on Monroe didn't have Shockwave. I was at 3 Targets today, and they're the only place that had any wave 2 out, but it was just deluxes. What was really disappointing about TRU is that they so far don't have a big display up (they did on release day for both of the previous movies). Just a handful of wave 1 DOTM toys back in the transformers section. I REALLY, REALLY should have done a pre order on Shockwave last night on BBTS before they sold out. I was very tempted, but didn't want to pay twice the price of the toy and find it on shelves today. Oh well.
