Hit up a few Targets today. A couple had Evolution deluxes out. They aren’t ringing up at the register so one lady asked for the price and I told her the MSRP, but a guy at a different Target was ringing them up at 15 as like an “apology” they were put out early
Graceland Target is so surprisingly bare. Leader Fallen, Galvatron, a Cyberverse Arcee and I think a Cyberverse 1 step. Bethel Walmart has some EarthSpark deluxes, got my Twitch! Still had another Twitch before close last night, with a few Megs & Bumblebee's. Didn't see any Optimus'.
I called stow target and they dont have any Evolution in the system just yet. They actually said things were still pretty barren.
I was able to pick up an SS Rumble at W. 117th Target. There was at least one more and a bunch of those pink Bumblebee things. Otherwise nothing new.
A couple of core Laserbeaks and Wheelies and a leader class Sludge at the Dayton mall Target, but otherwise pretty barren. Dayton mall Walmart can die in a fire.
Worse. It's just the same stuff that's been on pegs for 8 months, or rather the scraps of the same old stuff. Even their recent restock was just more Bumblebee movie Arcees and Ironhides, and a few Jiaxus (Jihaxi?). Even their collector section in electronics is littered with just a few of the same figures that have been there for months. I really only go to that Walmart because it's so close to the Target, but every time I go in I'm reminded why I shouldn't have wasted my time. I actually needed some groceries while I was there, but I left without buying anything out of spite. I detest Walmarts in general, but fuck that one in particular.
Stopped by the Shrock Road Walmart in Westerville/Columbus tonight. Their inventory is really dwindling with no sign of a restock. They had a few Legacy Deluxe figures from wave 1 (Skids, Kickback, and Arcee) and a couple Velocitron Deluxe figures in damaged boxes (Burnout). There were a couple Jhiaxus and Junkheap Voyager figures as well. They also had some Studio Series Deluxe figures (Bumblebee Arcee and maybe others) plus some Legacy and Studio Core figures (Iguanus, Studio Shockwave, Ravage, etc). Recently, they had quite a few Hauler figures, but they seem to all be gone now. Also checked out the Walgreens on the northside of Westerville but they had nothing, no Minerva, Red Alert, or anything else.
Walgreens in Polaris had 3 Minervas yesterday (they were not in the display w/the other action figures, but the area a few aisles over w/other toys).
Eastgate Walmart - has several Legacy Kickbacks!!! Nothing was new. The Ross in Eastgate had no Transformers.
I see Kickback on occasion around here (Tuttle area). Speaking of, Tuttle Walmart had a bunch of different Earthrise figures while I was in there trying and failing to buy a pipe wrench.
