The Dorothy lane walmart has one shadowstrip, and four G1 Starscream reissue in the new window less box. Didn't even know about this coming out. They were away from most of the transformers next the GI Joe killer crok and fiona. Here is a link for what I spotted Transformers Retro The Transformers: The Movie G1 Starscream Collectible Action Figure - Walmart.com
I went there on a whim after dropping off my parents in Covington. I was surprised to see him there at all
Target Dayton Mall: Earthspark Deluxe Bumblebee, BB Bumbleswoop and BB/SS Leader Optimus. Also GIJoe Python Patrol Viper and 1st Wave Dungeons & Dragons cartoon figures (just the regular ones, not the Venger/Dungeonmaster set) WalMart Dayton Mall: TFTM 'cartoon color' G1 Starscream (on the shelf above everything. Also lots of retro-card GI Joe Destro usurping territory from the horde of Lady Jayes, and one Snake Eyes/Timber set (tucked behind the Croc Masters)
I don't leave the house often (outside of work) but when I do. . . I over do it. Walgreens report! Rockside & Brecksville - still same Kingdom assortment from Christmas stock, Red Alert has been snagged. Rockside & Broadview - Minerva's gone. Broadview & Pleasant Valley - Red Alert for days. I think they also had that Walgreens series Jetfire (sorry I forget the location) which looked really cool for that box line. I would like to see a more involved take on that sculpt. Very tempting. Center Ridge Road & Wager - Nothing of note. Meijer Seven Hills still totally devoid of Transformers Target 117th, plenty of Earthrise stock. Target Fairview Park, some of the kid friendly Bumblebee multipacks. A lone Skullgrin. Two BwB Primes. I had a moment of weakness and snagged the marked down Masterverse He-Man, She-ra, and Hordak figures. Their 40th Anniversary He-Man are down to $6. I wasn't going to grab him, but $6 man. . . I'm weak. La Plaza supermarket - Cacique Beef Chorizo and Supremo Beef Chorizo, picante and mild varieites. That's as accurate as I can recall. Adapting to bifocals, I did my best to scan shelves without getting dizzy.
Sugarcreek Target has 1 tarn, 2 leo primes, couple nest bonecrushers, 1 twitch, 1 sludge, warror class elita 1, couple legacy galvatrons, cyberverse bee swoops and some cyberverse optimus prime stuff
I walked to a Kroger that’s up the street from my apartment and saw 6 different cars get stuck along with a Cincy Metro bus
I saw the forecast, so the fiancee and I got all of our shopping done yesterday. Noooo way I was gonna go out today.
I will never get over how easily Ohio residents forget how to drive in rain or snow. Baffles my mind, and I understand it's equal portions experience, knowing your vehicle, and adapting to conditions that change on the fly; but really - if you're not actively distracting yourself by playing with a radio or phone while driving in bad conditions it's not that hard. 10 and 2, eyes on the road, focus on maintaining your speed and lane, and don't be aggressive or jumpy. If you needed to be somewhere 20 minutes ago, then you should have left 20 minutes earlier - bad road conditions don't allow for tomfoolery. Glad I got the wanderlust out of my system yesterday when it was just cold. Looking outside I shake my fist in Mother Nature's general direction.
I can drive in the snow thanks to having family in Chicago and learning to drive up there. Problem is that my car is a FWD V6 coupe and where I live is practically all hills. Plus ODOT sucks at plowing roads
I fear ODOT and city of cleveland seem to rely heavily on the forecast. I get cleveland, the city is pretty strapped for cash and the more bougie pockets of the city receive the attention; while areas like mine are left to fend for themselves. Last winter the roads in my neighborhood were not drivable to any common passenger vehicle for about two days. After the first dumping of snow, I paid to have the driveway plowed; but roads were a mess and it didn't help morons in cleveland ignore parking snow bans that impede snow removal efforts. Honestly it's such an issue in my neighborhood I wouldn't be opposed to the city maintaining a database of serial offenders and the next winter if the car isn't moved it's towed to the impound. Just because they may not need to leave the house doesn't mean the rest of us don't have jobs to get to despite the lousy weather. We have a new mayor who made much news about his plans to deal with snow removal, but so far we haven't had to test that. Fingers crossed he's true to his word.
Yeah pretty much every snow this season the roads haven’t been cleared for a while. Highways don’t get cleared till mid-afternoon, city and side streets seem to not get touched until at least 24-48 hours
Can't speak for the whole region, but our first big snow hit either on Christmas Eve, or the day before going into a holiday weekend. Which I assume means the city expects reduced traffic as people aren't driving to work, and presumably have already gathered for the family. They also seem to prefer to wait for snow fall to cease, or ease up before engaging. Tomorrow morning will be a good indicator. This whole week looks to be crap, but I file that under "reasons to not live in Ohio". :b Admittedly I am in this state of mind until at least the middle of May (been to too many frigid Free Comic Book Day events outdoors):
The first time I heard the main song from that (not realizing where it came from) I thought it was talking about someone melting their clutch… like their transmission clutch
I stopped by Sugarcreek Target after work tonight and, as expected, Tarn was gone. I did grab one of the Leo Primes though. There's still one left. They were stocking toys while I was there too, but it was mostly Lego on the cart from what I could see. Oh, and plenty of Cyberverse stuff left for those interested.
