Just kinda putting this out there but would anyone by chance have the gold Giant Planet Cyber Key they’d be willing to part with? I picked up a Metroplex at the Toy Dept and it had a silver Giant Planet key but the original one it came with is the gold key
I got him from Target last week and he is pretty fun! The transformation can be a little finicky the first couple times, but then it goes smoother after that.
Was at Skylark’s Toys in Grove City earlier today. They had 4 Netflix Bumblebees if anyone is still looking. Of course at a markup though, $35. Not a bad little shop too if you wanna look at some old toys.
Alexandria Walmart has a few red figures (and cyberverse if anyone here collects those) but nothing else. Not sure what the problem is or anything but it seems like they’ve just stopped ordering transformers, Star Wars, or marvel legends.
Is it an issue of not stocking, or supply chain being hosed and stock not existing? This doesn't feel like the old days, where my local stores were dumping grounds for scalpers that would buy new stock and return old trash to haunt shelves forever. So many stores in the cleveland area seem to have limited, to no inventory. Empty pegs nearly every time I visit.
Supply chain hosed and scalpers working overtime due to job insecurity maybe? Maybe I'm giving the effects of the pandemic too much credit. Toys being scalped. Graphics cards being scalped. Gaming consoles being scalped. Budget PC's with decent graphics cards being scalped, because you can't build and buy a danged PC. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ At least I've got good local beers, although aluminum shortages are preventing more canning. . . Planning on hitting two Walmarts on Sunday. I'll post findings, sorry I'm favoring Walmart in my hunt for Soundwave.
Niles Target... 1x Core Class Rattrap and a slew of Core Class Bumblebees (with Spike). I'd say that's remotely noteworthy, everything else is the usual. An overabundance of the Buzzworthy Deluxe repacks and some of the gray ReAction figures people clearly don't give a crap about as they're starting to have a layer of dust on 'em.
Reminder: Please keep the discussion to sightings and whatnot. Bringing political or hot-button topics in isn't needed.
Athens Walmart has 4 Dinobots, 2 Infernos, 2 Netflix Cheetors, 3 RED Cheetors, 3 RED Megatrons, 2 RED Arcees, 2 RED Primes, and 3 of both Hardhead and Highbrow. Never seen this place so stocked, so if you're in the SE Ohio area and want any of these you better come down and get them because I guarantee you these won't last long.
WWE MotU?! Did you see Bigfoot riding a Unicorn in the parking lot as well? I was positive this line was merely an urban legend. File under: Stuff I wanted to buy, but never existed at retail for me.
