Tri-County Target is pretty dry. But, they do have those Cyberverse Hot Rod/Sharkticon sets, if you are into those, and some of the Cyberverse stuff is on clearance.

Finally found a store (Wal-Mart - Alexandria, KY) that had the new re-issue G1 Astrotrain. I got lucky. Astrotrain wasn't on the shelf. I couldn't find anybody in the toy department to help me (shocker) so I had somebody page a toy department worker for me. After waiting for about 10 minutes (nobody showed up), I walked around a bit and found a case containing re-issue Astrotrain in a shopping cart full of toys that were being moved around. I bought them both at the $40 discounted price. I'm an Astrotrain whore.

Ohio stores in my area are starting to get Astrotrain in stock according to Brickseek. I went to the Eastgate Wal-Mart to check there first. According to Brickseek, the store had 3 to 4 in stock. However, none were on the shelf (again, shocker). A worker there said that they were in the back but that it would take too long for her to find them for me. She said to check back next Tuesday when they reset the toy aisles.

    Wal-Mart sucks.

They're discounted for $40? Is Walmart discounting them already? Don't get me wrong, I think $50 MSRP for G1 Astrotrain is almost as ridiculous as a trailerless Prime. Just surprised they're selling for less this soon.

Yup. I paid $39 and change for each of my Astrotrains. I think $40 will be the “normal” price for Astrotrain for now on. Some stores are still selling him for $50 though.

Yeah I was totally out of the market for this at $50 but $40 is more manageable since I’ll be bought up until April after I get SS Scavenger and Shockwave

Likelihood of finding spinister in cincy?

Colerain Target looks like they just got mirage's wave.

Edit: walmart near 275 has impactor, 35th stuff. Nada else.

I think I've only seen Spinister once. He's probably in high demand. I'll keep an eye out for you.

I wound up getting Spinister and Mixmaster off of Amazon when they were in stock a couple of weeks ago because it was just easier then chasing around, I haven't seen them in person at all when I've been out and about (Delaware/Lewis Center area).

As always, you are The Man.

Saw a couple $40 Astrotrains at Colerain Wal-Mart last night - should have mentioned it. He looks pretty good, but that dirty-grey just doesn't work as well as bone white.

When does Target adjust their clearance prices? Wednesdays? Or is it up to individual stores? I need me some Skittles seekers.

This would happen on the day I discover I've got to drop $1100 on surgery for my cat tomorrow, heh. Well, if they're at least showing up in the area now then I'll be able to snag them before too long.

Thanks :)  Dental infection with no visible indications meant he lost a tooth in the middle of the night, surgery is to remove the remains of the tooth and deal with a couple of potential related problems the vet noticed. Should be pretty routine stuff but definitely not how I'd planned on spending money this month by any means *chuckles*

I don't know you.... but I feel for you.

I had to have my service cat Maximus Prime put to sleep over a year ago and it simply crushed me.(yes that IS what I named him and it's on the paperwork at the veterinarian where I used to take him for care but I actually called him MAX most of the time). I didn't want to have MAX put to sleep but the procedure that he needed was going to be around $4,700 AND he was going to need the procedure done EVERY year.....

Max was such a great cat. I actually discovered that he could be my service animal quite by accident. He grew to be a very large, athletic cat and he would lay on my upper chest and neck and not let me get up and out of bed. The significance of Max laying on me was that he would ONLY do that when I was in the very early stages of pneumonia. So, Max new I was going to be getting sick and when he would lay across me like that I would immediately start taking the meds that I kept on hand to avoid getting full blown pneumonia.

Max helped me to prevent from getting Pneumonia on 7 separate occasions. He was my good buddy and he will always be missed dearly by me.

Max sounds like he was the best cat, and thank you. Currently on tenderhooks waiting for news on the surgery.
