Does anybody in Cincinnati know if they closed the Johnny's toy store in Greenhills permanently? It was a good spot for finding old (as in 1 or 2 years old) toys.

That comes as sad news for children and adults who remember using a flimsy key that came via the mail to open the castle door at Johnny's Toys for a free birthday gift. Johnny's Toys closed New Year's Eve. Village Mayor Oscar Hoffmann said he was unaware the store was closing but wasn't surprised. "This is a big, big hit for us," Hoffmann said. "We've lost PNC bank and Our Lady of the Rosary School." Hoffmann said he contacted the store manager after seeing a sign in the store window that it was closing for remodeling. "(He) told me it was for good," Hoffmann said. Village officials estimate the loss in revenue from the toy store closing at about $10,000. Municipal Manager David Moore said that along with the money generated from taxes, there is the unknown factor of what business trickled town to the shopping center from Johnny's customers. "There will be a loss in other ways that isn't financial," Moore said. Hoffmann said the property is owned by the company and he assumes the remodeling is preparing the building for sale. "We have no authority or part in who they sell it to or what goes in that location," Hoffmann said. "It's sad to see Johnny's go. It was an icon in the community and a destination spot for a lot of people who might not come to Greenhills otherwise. "I guess they just couldn't compete with the big box stores."
This is more of a "they're in the area" report than anything else, but: At the Athens Wal-Mart they had Jungle Bonecrusher, Overcast, and the FABs Rescue Torch Ratchet, Night Attack Megatron, and Desert Blast Brawl. They only had 1 of each, though, and I snatched them all up (Rally Rocket Bumblebee had been snatched up before I got there). They've hit Ohio, though. As for what they still actually HAVE, they've got at least 2 each of the other Allspark Power deluxes, a Deep Desert Brawl, and 2 Incinerators.
Sugarcreek Target appearently got a few of the new Battle legends 2-packs. There was at least one of the Battle-damaged Jazz and Ice Megatron sets left. I think I got the last Bumblebee/Scorponok pack.

at the meijer on colerain had the one with the towtruck with half of bumblebee. it said mikes on the side the towtruck. the towtruck transforms into a robot, i don't think the mgr would like it if i took my camera in and took a pic of it

At Xenia Wal-Mart, they have most of the new FABs, as well as the newer deluxes (a la Jungle Bonecrusher). Also had a couple Desert Brawls (leader). And in non-TF sightings, they had the single packs of GIJoe 25th Cobra Commander (battle helmet), Scarlett and Gung Ho.
The Wal-Mart here in Athens got in a few of the Patrol Barricade & Ironhide Cyber Slammers, as well as 4 of the new Allspark Ratchet Blasters.

Wal-Mart exclusive Allspark Power deluxes and Robot Heroes movie special pack seen at WM in Sugarcreek and Beavercreek near Fairfield Mall. Good effin' luck finding Big Daddy or Grindcore, but it you want Jolt or Divebomb, you probably won't have any problem.
All of the Wal-Mart exclusive deluxes were found at the store here in Athens, as well. After I got my set of 4, only 1 Divebomb and 1 Jolt remain, however.
