Kickback, did you get any more of this last night? From my porch, again, there was a massive lightning show that looked to be in the same area as this last one. It went on through most of the night.

Well, I think Ohio has all of you beat, hands-down, lol.

We got hit last Friday, with a land hurricane at around 6 in the evening. It was pretty bad too, considering it knocked out power, traveled through Ohio, Indiana, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia and Pennsylvania. When it was said and done, a good lot of folks were without power, and water for almost 4 days out here, and we were under a state of emergency, being asked to conserve water when we got it back on, as well as to boil it for the next few days.

But in the end it does make you thankful for what you have.

They said we're supposed to get more storms tonight. Please don't take away the power again. >_< I just want to sleep in my bed with A/C instead of on the floor of a hotel room with A/C. Freaking brother had to hog the double-bed.

I feel bad for the roofers fixing all the hail damage people got a few weeks ago.

Same here! Where we live we could use some real rain! When's this slaggin' dome of high pressure gonna be broken, dammit!? We need this rain!

Sorry. I'm just frustrated. I'm a boater, so I get a bit worried if the water levels get too low or if there's no rain for over a month.

With all the humid weather Canada and the US has been getting...

    Heres' a weird crazy thought:

Would something like this stationed appropriatly (as in not too far from Earth) between the Sun and the Earth help in reducing the heat?

The other side of it would be solar panels that would help power the station as well.

Just a random crazy thought while walking from home from work.
