Thanks a lot!
shame there is never any love for pretender bludgeon which is how i will always see him as , always thought the later look of him looks like arse
I mean how could you not feel like that in the face of such technical prowess and artful skill as THIS:
I like how his helmet is designed to face directly towards the reader while the rest of his face turns. Looks so much better than the new stuff.
This. So very much this.
Hopefully someday the Pretenders will receive new toys with articulated Pretender shells and improved but faitfull renditions of their inner robots.
I liked when the pictures first came out, but I think they obscured that chin. Not a fan of that part (lol), but overall this is a quite cool look and design for him.
This isn't something i would buy (because I don't usually do statues), but just looking at this, the colors are a little too washed out, imo.
I know modern versions skip the pretender thing (until they do it justice I don't care) and have a machine face that happens to evoke a skull, but this one is a bit much.
Daaaang, that's gnarly! Too bad it'll probably be ridiculously expensive, and I'll never own it.
You know I gotta say I really like how most modern versions of Bludgeon all incorporate design elements from the ROTF voyager. It was just that good of a Bludgeon.
I'd like to see that Bludgeon design in BB2 / Knightverse movies easily.
Colors seem kinda basic but it might be me or the screenshots.
Absolutely. I think the RotF voyager admitted that Bludgeon is cool first and foremost for being a mechanical skeleton samurai man, so eliminating his shrugworthy inner robot mode to focus on that and the tank was the best upgrade he could have ever gotten.
And on that subject: can we have a new transforming toy already? ROTF toy is suffering from that plasticizer shit, which is why I haven't even bothered to acquire one for myself.
Hot take, it looks like shit
Excuse my language, but that's Ter-Ribble!
Yeah, I'm not a fan. The real problem for me is the gurren lagann head.
While you're calling it the RotF voyager and yes that was the first toy, shouldn't we really be calling it Don's Stormbringer design?
Wasn't the comic design inspired by the toy?
