Besides that, it looks fairly promising and it looks like they’re sticking close to G1 but still taking creative risks. Minus Bee and Windblade being more important than Optimus again...

I'm very happy that my three favorite seekers (Thundercracker, Slipstream, Acid Storm) are in this, but I'm not entirely thrilled with Thundercracker's design. Like someone else said, he really needs some black or silver to break up the blue. Acid Storm and Slipstream's color layout are much better.

 

Why are their hands rendered by the Super FX chip?

 

I am distracted by Shockwave having another Shockwave eye on top of his head. It's like a mini Shockwave using the main Shockwave as a mount.

Other than...that...the designs are pretty neat. I'm guessing Grimlock and Wheeljack will have face plates, since Grimlock has it on his toys, but they're about what I expected going into it.

 

A Transformers series where characters other than Prime and Bumblebee exist? What is this sorcery?

Not really digging the \"Grimlock with a mouth\" thing that\'s been going on recently. Now I know how people felt when they gave Optimus a mouth...

 

I have to say, I actually don’t mind this G1 modernization thing they’re doing here. I was skeptical at first, but there are actually some significant differences from G1 but still influenced by G1 enough to recognize the characters. Except for Megatron. Dear god forget everything about G1 Megatron except for the arm cannon. Use Animated’s design; that was cool!

 

It's okay Guys Skywarp's teleportation ability went haywire and wounded up in the new GI Joe Reboot Cartoon that just hasn't been announced yet. But I'm sure it's coming....any day now.

I like that we’re getting some female representation with the Decepticons as well as the Autobots. These designs are nice for the most part, Hopefully they hold up when in motion.

Also, I lament the loss of visors and mouth plates from Autobot characters. I’m fine with designs differentiating from G1, but this seems to have been the trend for awhile now :/ (although I understand it’s hard to give expressions to characters without eyes and mouths).
