I wonder if anyone noticed that the Official Transformers Movie Website is currently gone?

The URL www.transformersmovie.com now redirects you to the Facebook page instead of a site.

I'm guessing an update is going on. Probably getting ready for the trailer.

It's been like that for quite a long time actually. At least a good 6 months. I've been checking periodically.

Yeah it's been like that after they removed all the TF4 stuff.

I'm surprised they had it like that for so long.

Yeah, they've gotten lazier with the sites as the films progressed.

That's strange. I kind of remember visiting that site not too long ago. Three months ago maybe.

That's because Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat are wonderful alternatives:
    1. No need to maintain a server.
    2. No need to do animation or web design.
    3. Can appoint good Social Media experts to handle marketing.
    4. Robust.
    5. Best: Easily reach millions of people whereas not many will visit a dedicated site.

Been checking it back to back, And it still remain as the facebook website. They're most likely planning something big.

Yup, usually check around August because they add the little domain name at the top, but it just directed me to facebook and I was disappointed.

Not really, if they were to have a website it would most likely be up by now. I'm sure it'll remain a facebook page.

What's annoying about the Facebook page is that if you're in the UK it automatically redirects you to the Transformers Film UK page, and that's had sparse and very delayed updates for AOE.

I think, site will be updated, but later, because its quite not logical that so many people await for the trailer, but site has content about TF4:)  They just haven't something awesome for TF5 yet
