is it just me, or do highly advanced alien robots have a hard time finding two humans hiding in a shack?
and where are the bots in all this?

 

That is not Megatron. We do not know where Blackout would be during this particular scene. And we have no clue where the Autobots are.

We have to watch the movie in order to see how the things play out. This is just a little clip and we cannot discern anything from it.  

 

Use your ears. You can hear the Decepticons conversing in Cybertronian as they're searching for Sam and Mikeala.

The Decepticon protoforms are different than the Autobot ones; that much can be told from their appearance in the trailer released April 30th.

As bad as the first? Already from this clip I can see three areas where the sequel has improved over the first film:

Decepticons working together as a team: check.

Even better-looking CGI: check.

Well-choreographed, easy to follow action: check.

Sorry, but you're going to have to try harder to be a hater.

 

i really wish that they wouldn't rush the movie. i would much rather have it come out mid-July than risk having CGI etc. that's not as good as it could have been.

 

I found the fact that the con's didn't speak in English in this scene very appropriate. If they talked solely for the sake of Decepticons having more lines this time around, it probably would have come across as the bad cartoony movie the studios feared that it could have been

 

as usual, i agree with you for the most part. but as for the CGI being better, i'm going to have to disagree. even the screencap in your sig looks like it's out of a video game in my eyes, and many shots from the trailers have as well, most notably Devastator combining

 

I totally agree. However, we do not know how far along they've been coming since these clips have been shown. The clips are bits and pieces that they get out there for promotion only. And everytime a new trailer or TV spot comes along we have seen different and updated scenes. So it is possible that they may be getting near to the completion without having to be rushed.

 

just saw it again. when are they gonna mention The Fallen in the commercials?

 

I found the lack of Deceptions dialogue in English annoying (I could barely make out them conversing in Cybertronian), but this is just one clip so I'll reverse my final judgement. Ultimately, I want the Cons conversing and bickering, it's what they do.

Otherwise, a very good scene.

 

everyone needs to calm down about the Decepticons not talking. It is very possible they can add dialogue to it but IMO it works much better without it.

Love that roaming camera shot! That's the most interesting camera work I've ever seen in a Bay film.

I don't know much about Transformers, so when I first saw the teaser and trailer, and footage of Ravage I thought he was damn huge because of the way they close up on him, but glad to see he's the size of well.. normal for what he is.

 

LOOKS AMAZING! I cannot wait till the 24th!! It was nice to see a shot of Long Haul. Hopefully he is as bad-ass at he looks.

It's possibly one of two scenarios:

1) The less said, the more ominous the villain seems. This scene is near final.
2) There will be Decepticon lines dubbed in later. They were not ready or synched up at this time.

Or even, possibly, the Decepticons are being as stealthy as 30 foot tall giant kill bots can be. Screaming, talking, and making obvious sounds would help Sam and Mikaela know where EXACTLY the cons are, beyond "nearby".
