For the record, I DID enjoy the first movie, I just thought it wasn't that good. Also, I just think that maybe some dialogue from the Decepticons would have made the scene a little better. Actually, it'd be hilarious if one of the Decepticons did say "Are they here? Nope! Are they here? Nope!" That'd actually be one of the few jokes of this movie that I'd probably laugh at.

Just take Mission City from Movie 1. Ironhide said stuff like "Cover fire!" "Watch out!" and grunted in English when hit by Screamer. None of Screamer's grunts here were from Adler.

 

Exactly my point. Now, I can probably understand why the Decepticons had less lines than the Autobots. Maybe it was because the Decepticons disliked the English language, as they probably thought it was a language for insects (us humans, in this case). But since this is movie numero dos, we should at least expect some more lines from the Decepticons.

 

Wasn't nearly as impressed with the scene as a lot of you (no heart pounding and so on) but the bots looked pretty good

 

it was much more menacing for them to say nothing.

 

There is also a possibility that lines might actually be added in there. Bay has already said that they will be working on the edits for this movie very close to the release.

In the first movie, they can probably get away with that. For me, it just doesn't feel right that the Decepticons have no dialogue in this scene. I can understand they're supposed to be menacing and all, but this the second movie. I highly doubt some kids who were SO TRAUMATIZED by how scary the Decepticons were are still gonna shit themselves when they see the Fallen and Devastator.

Well, considering how tomorrow's the first day of June, and the movie is coming out three weeks from this Wednesday, there's a good chance that the movie will probably be rushed. So, I highly doubt that there'll be any dialogue added to the scene by then. Also, we need to remember that the movie was postponed due to the 2007-2008 Writers' Strike, so that had an effect on shooting the movie as well.

 

keep in mind, this more than likely was not the whole scene, and in the grand scheme of the movie is an extremely small sample.

they played the clip early on purpose...the awards have become stale and the rotf clip was the only thing worth watching.

i think megan got pissed when samberg called her ugly (something like that) in his song..but i kindof like that
