Boba Fett is total and complete crap.

 

SW/TF is seriously giving Go Bots a run for "Most Craptacular" robot line ever.

 

Sunstorm's...gaudy. That yellow's just too bright. Maybe it'll look better in person. The Op repaint is nice, but I wn't be buying the $40 version. As for Boba Fett...I was hoping for something a bit more complex. Maybe they're designing them so that 6 year olds will be able to toy with them. I think the ships look great but the mechs...OK to bad.

I don't care what everyone says how bad Boba is. I like him!   Makes it a lot easier for me to get him, like Alt. Prime. The LOC TFs still look awesome, especially that Optimus Prime repaint! Hopefully Hasbro makes the repaint for the leader-sized version.

 

I think Boba Fett looks cool.

The teeny-weeny Thundercracker is a thousand times better than his deluxe incarnation.

I still don't understand that Prime repaint. I like it, but I don't understand it.

Sunstorm is average.

The Bobba Fett pictures are not new, I've seen them elsewhere 3 days ago. Looks good. LOC Prime with black? Bleh. Sunstorm is alright, Skywarp is nice too.

 

Btw, Anakin is a repaint of Obi-Wan, with a different head. It was online as well.

 

Fett doesn't look that bad to me, although his joints look very strange. I hope none of them have the soft plastic used in Luke's ankles.

Quoted for truth! The design team for SWTFs needs to hang out in Japan for a couple of months... or get some sort of agreement with Takara going on. I think my biggest problem with the SWTFs is that they don't really "Transform" perse, but seem more like you pop the arms, legs and head out of the main ship piece which sort of end up being the body. That and the cockpits never move which makes them look... well, fat.

Can't wait for a voyager sized Sunstorm... that paint job looks awesome. Hopefully, they choose the voyager sized Starscream to repaint... because they could end up using the Supreme King Starscream... since the LOC version is actually a smaller version of that one. God I hope not.

Those jerks made the LOC Thundercracker better than the deluxe one... I still won't buy it as I'm not collecting the LOC line, but... damn them... did they really have to make the $3 toy better than the $10 toy? I feel like they should have at least re-engineered the Skywarp repaint. Sucks.

Eh... I hope that the LOC Prime repaint isn't what we're getting for the Super Prime repaint. I would buy a Nemesis Prime/Scourge painted one or an Ultra Magnus painted one, but not the whole black Prime thing. Heck, I'd even buy a gold painted "final battle" version since he looks that way when he fights Galvatron at the end of Cybertron/Galaxy Force. But a figure where they've replaced the blue with black and added all the planet symbols to his shoulder? Nah, I'll pass and that would make it okay, because I'd save $40.

Still, can't wait for toyfair next week. We should see all this and more!

Boba Fett seemed more promising earlier on, probably because of unclear pics. Now, definitely not so much. He's worse than Obi-Wan and Anakin, and that's saying something. I'll probably never even get Grievous and/or Vader like I originally wanted to try, since I've got too much else to collect.... ah well.

 

I bought wave 1 & 2 of LoC so most likely I'll be getting those as well. I was thinking about getting SWTF but now I want to pass because 1) $15 is too much for subpar toys 2) look uninspiring not worth posing it with my TFs. Maybe Takara will come up with better molds for them in the future.

 

I wonder how huge Jabba would be...

That Boba Fett is pretty darned chunkafied.
