There’s no reason to think this could be our first look at an Earthrise Barricade and Bumblebee, is there?

It really frustrates me that we got only a small fraction of season three music. I felt this was the best music of the original G1 series. The season two music was great, but I always felt it fit G.I. Joe a lot more, whereas season one's music just never did it for me (I always found it kinda bland, which is also my overall opinion of the first season). It doesn't help that most of the music we got in the vinyl was season one music.  

But yeah, these three themes are pretty funky and intense. I particularly love the first one (which is unfortunately incomplete), because it really has a lot of energy in it and it really fits TF action scenes perfectly.

 

Agreed that the season three music was really great and moody. But I liked some of the season one two music too. They had some beautiful emotional tunes. And these three funky synth tracks really bring me back to the eigthies. A fun three minutes.

 

Season two had some great orchestral music which was also used on G.I. Joe (and even though the pieces added a level of intensity to the second season, I always felt they were more fitting for G.I. Joe's more military focused stories).

Season one, the only piece that made an impression on me was the generic rock/disco theme that Jazz and Blaster used to play (though I don't think that may count as a season one music piece, since it actually appeared in Spider-Friends).

 

I was most specifically thinking of the intro and outro of season one. Especially the outro had a kind of sad quality to it to me. I might also be thinking of the outro to season two :/
I actually can't recall any specific music from the soundtrack of season one at the moment.

 

Yeah, the outro theme from seasons one and two does have a bit of a melancholic sound to it.

 

Here's one of my favorite season three tracks.
Love how dramatic and dynamic it sounds.
Perfect battle music.

 

This one is also fun.

And this one sounds so heroic.

Interesting... once again one of the music tracks is edited, only this time its a tad longer than the album version. At the 23 second mark, "Separation Anxiety" either adds another 8 beats or repeats the previous 8 beats before the drum breakdown. It's hard to tell exactly which, but it does sound like an intentional fade-in has been introduced.

And then of course, the last track gets cut off abruptly at the end, haha.

Is the TV soundtrack music available anywhere as digital or CD?  I have no use for a vinyl release

 

...not yet, neither on compact disc / official download nor as a complete soundtrack, hence all our complaints in this thread...
