This may be very YMMV, but the local Walmart (Chikasha, OK) had 1x PoTP Windcharger and 1x PoTP Skrapnel in the "clearance" aisle (not the regular action figure aisle). Not even a price tagged peg in the TF section, so I took a Windcharger over to an associate (working post-mounted price scanners are vary rare in Walmarts around me) and asked her to scan, and they said it was $5.00. So if you see PoTP legends in the "wrong place" at your local Walmart, scan the price.

They also have a discount on the latest MP primal.
    https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/aw/d/B0...ords=mp-38&dpPl=1&dpID=51MyItODY7L&ref=plSrch

Fortunately I already picked him up a few months back with a 20% eBay discount code and some eBay bucks from that quarter. But this is a deal for those that missed that one.

Pretty true, I doubt nostaglia kicks in at 28, which most people would be with Beast Wars.

Nastalgia kicks in once you hit the real world then some. Usually when you get married, had a kid, and remember what it waas like to be kid. Sure in some parts that may happen at 28. But not really. At 28 now a days, some people are just 4 years out of their partents house.

BW, will work in 5-8 years from now.

I keep forgetting about Amazon Japan shipping to the US. I finally went there after seeing this thread and placed my first order. Cancelled my preorders at BBTS as even with shipping, the items were $27 cheaper. Let's just hope I don't have any issues with QC as I've been burned in the past ordering from someone else cheaper that didn't offer the same service after the sale as Big Bad.

Yeah, at 28 I'd moved to a foreign country, bought my first apartment and had already purchased my first MP.

I had nostalgia for G1 when I was 19. Beast Wars started airing which scratched that itch and got me hooked for another 20 years. I can now afford MPs for both generations.

I didn't move out until 23 though. Got me there!

Not meaning to offend, the comment on when kids moved out of the house is actually a stat. I recall reading that the new age is 24, and hiking up higher. That is the averge. So of course you'll have above average and below average, or else the average would not exist. Also, you could be nostalgic are an earlier age as well, but just saying when most people are.

If we are talking about why BW hasn't been successful. you have to go to the average scale and not judge it by you, especially if your above average.

Given that they recently revealed the fifth BW MP figure and they felt confident enough to release Dinobot as the most expensive MP to date, I'd hardly call BW unsuccessful just because a single repaint is discounted.

Whoa... $76.xx, shipped for Primal? Geez.
I'm trying not to justify it, but I really want to justify it. (lol)

Amazon Japan also has MP-10B (Black Convoy) for 7659 yen (about $70 u.s.).
Edit: Shipping added another $10 or so.

The weekend has been expensive, but how can you pass on the deals for Megs, Supreme Primal and Black Convoy? It would be irresponsible not to buy, right?

Can a MISB collector confirm for me if it's safe to order a figure from amazon.jp. Does the box stay in good shape through the travel? Not like things from amazon.com that are always destroyed for me.

All of the figures I’ve ordered from amazon jp have boxes that arrived in great shape. They come shrink wrapped to a piece of cardboard inside the box so that it can’t move around in transit.
