YMMV, but my local Wal-Mart has lowered the prices on the TLK deluxes to $15 and change.

 

Huh, all the ones I've been to have has them for $15.85 or so since their release. How much were they before?

 

They were $19.88 or something like that when they were released here.

 

Indian Land, SC Wal Mart has TLK deluxes that ring up at $7.00. Thanks for the tip; I got a cheap barricade!

 

On a tangentially-related note, I found that many clearance items at my Walmart were ringing up significantly cheaper than their sticker price. (For example: a Bob the Builder pullback Muck had a sticker that said "Was: $6.98; Now: $5." But when I scanned it, it came up $1.50.)

Titan Masters are now on sale $2 clearance price at wegmans. Last week they were $2.92. Got me a Shuffler, Nightbeat, Repungus & Skytread.

 

But they dropped nationally pretty soon after, to $15.XX or $16.XX. Let's face it: TLK Wave 1 toys have seriously FAILED.   Which, of course, screws over the entire line!       Ughhhh.. they may yet haunt us this Xmas season if they flood discounters and block TR toys!

It wasn't that soon after. I was checking pretty often.

 

I never once saw TLK deluxes more than 15.83 in-store at Walmart. The online price was higher, though. And I was pushing Lazerwave levels of anxious on TLK Wave 1 (oh, hindsight.)

I'm guessing you guys are in one of the regions with consistently higher prices? Like when they first raised the deluxe price to $13 everyone in my part of the country was freaking out but it was someplace, maybe New England fans that were like "whoa, you guys were paying $9 for deluxes?"

 

Maybe your Wal Mart is different? Every single one I've been to since launch has had their deluxes at $15.86 and their Voyagers at $26. I bought Voyager Optimus at that price the first week.

 

Update on regional Walmart silliness:
I just picked up TLK Legion Drift, Barricade, and Grimlock for $1.50 each. They had similar prices on the RiD Legions (but I already bought those at retail prices). As always, your Walmart may or may not be this crazy.

Stopped at a second Walmart after dinner tonight and snagged a Legion Crosshairs for $1.50 (and got my son a four pack of DC-themed Thomas mini trains for the same price).

 

Anybody know the SKU for TLK Legions? (and the other TLK size classes, actually)
