It's just overly heavy Optimus case distribution. So he is easy to find in stores so less people need to order online.

 

Ordering online actually has little to do with this, it's just a toy no one seems to want because they either have the FE version, or they're waiting for the FE version.

Ordering online is typically used for the newer items that people want most and don't want to hunt for, but thing is, when the stores do get those new items in, they'll sell out fast. Optimus is just one of those toys and no one wants, and that was added to cases over and over again, to the point he's clogging shelves and inventory space, and people want to be rid of him.

The offer though is pretty funny, spend $300 and we'll give you two toys you can fine easily, and 1 you can get for cheap over at BBTS.

 

I know that people want something else, but free is still free.

Well, TRU did a return/exchange for two figures I bought before the buy 2 get 1 sale and let me take a figure for free. Tomorrow I'm gonna bring my receipts for the two MP thundercrackers I bought and try my luck again.

 

They are pretty cool. I bought a couple buy one get one half off two months ago and when I returned one they gave me full price refund.

If they give you any flack, assuming they have the stock, just buy 3 (with one free) and return two using the old receipts.

Kinda sucks, I just bought two of these things last week, but I bought them off another local collecter as they're still fairly hard to find. Sucks that, in theory, I could have an extra for free right now...

 

Yeah... I think I'm gonna try today, assuming they still have one left, which I bet they do, and get one for free to either put out for a custom job or sell at cost to recoup the money for my MISB one.
