Don't necessarily quote me on this, but I think Samsung pay has some sort of weird magic where it can emulate the magnetic strip of a traditional credit card and therefore work with a card reader that doesn't support contactless payment (like those at Walmart). Even though I've heard about it working, I've never seen it, and I still find it hard to believe. But apparently it's a thing. Surprises me that they would do an explicit deal with Samsung for it, though. I thought Walmart was all about pushing people into using their app for contactless payment.

Samsung Pay, or rather Samsung Wallet now, is a digital wallet, and does work in many places you might not expect, but when you choose "perks", you'll see deals when it's used online. It actually spawns the app (if installed) for that retailer and credits you when you complete the purchase as Rakuten would do on a desktop browser.

Maybe not a "deal" per se, but this seller on eBay has a few damaged box Siege Astrotrains up and is taking offers.

He just accepted my offer of $40 (plus $9.95 for shipping), so with tax it worked out to MSRP on what Astrotrain was selling for originally, which is better than I've seen it being scalped for.

 

That’s not scalping. It’s an older figure not in production anymore. Buying every new figure off the shelf and selling for much higher while in production is scalping. This is a deals thread so I’m not going to get off topic anymore and get in a debate. Nobody is going to sell their Metroplex for $100 or the $50 Costco clearance price from years ago.

Bro, it's literally been two business days after the busiest shopping day of the year.

 

It took over a month for some people’s orders to ship from the summer Pulse sale too. I think people have to temper expectations when it comes to how quickly Pulse can ship things out. It is a relatively new and smaller part of Hasbro and can’t compete with Target and the like.

 

This, people freak out if a drone hasn't deliver3d their goods an hour after ordering these days.

 

I will try not to say such harsh things like how I love their service.

(and my comment was more about how I ordered several things and instead of putting it all in one box they are shipping them all separately)

 

That can be because they get mailed out of several different warehouses.

 

I am sure that's possible. I just know I got an email a couple days after ordering saying my product has left the building, then checked and found it funny/strange that only one item shipped. Came on here to make a snide remark about it because I like to talk toys with people here. I guess people took my comment like I was freaking out about and it and trying to be malicious towards 'Pulse.
