We know Target is sometimes unreliable in fulfilling preorders, but GS applying the new pricehike on TT stuff while Target hasn't takes the teeth out of that sale.

 

I don’t know if it’s been reported before but GameStop’s new in-store price match policy doesn’t exclusively apply to games.
I just had my local store price match Target’s price on X-Spanse.

 

I wonder if that is one of those "at the manager's discretion" sort of ad hoc policies which enrage me. Sadly, as someone who otherwise is fortunate to have more than a few GS shops nearby, I can tell you that quite a few of their policies are recognized and enforced that way.

 

I ordered Gigawatt from Gamestop back in January. Haven't had an update yet. I emailed them to figure out what's going on. I've got bad news, guys.

I don't think we're going to get them. If you've still got an outstanding order, you may want to cancel it.

In other news, does anyone know where to get a Gigawatt? Let alone for $20?

 

Quick update to the sale at overstock.com that HunterGreen2005 was nice enough to share last week.
I ordered an Airwave and it arrived two days later in just the right size box. This looks like it's coming from a Hasbro warehouse and sold through overstock, similar to HTS selling on eBay.

This week they also added Transformers Generations Selects Wfc-Gs04 Powerdasher Cromar, War For Cybertron Deluxe for $9.99 with free shipping.
Cromar sold out on Hasbro Toy Shop's eBay so if you missed it here's another shot at it for under $10. The site mentions a 15% off coupon if you give them an email. I did and got the coupon only to find out it's not valid on toys. Boo. A couple of hours later though I got a different coupon for 12% off but this one did work on toys. YMMV but the coupon adds a little extra savings to an already good deal. Airwave is still in stock too.
