All deluxe Earthrise and Siege Transformers are $17.88 at Walmart. It looks to be for the holiday season. All the wall pegs have been changed and I just picked up a Smokescreen for that price today.

So you have a Rotorstorm with a Spinister head? I'd love to see a picture of that if you can. Maybe both side by side?

No, it's the helmet's front that has melted / is disfigured, there's no mouthplate...

Their system doesn't differentiate between different figures of the same size class, so it doesn't know what specific figures they have in stock - you're going to get a random figure of the same size class as the figure you ordered.

Can we get a stickied post somewhere explaining that people shouldn't do store pickup orders from Walmart? I feel like I see one of these posts every other day.

Is this true for both “in stock at X location” and “ship to store”?

I’ve never had them “ship to store” the wrong figure; however this may have changed. As for in-stock pickup, all the stores seem to have no way to differentiate these toys.

Ship to store should theoretically be fine, since the warehouses for online orders do use unique item numbers for each figure, and then ship that particular item to the store for you to pick up (though there have been a lot of reports in the Walmart thread lately that they've been sending the wrong figure for shipped orders as well).

Are you sure you don't have Walmart and target mixed up?

Target uses DPCIs which cover the whole class size.
walmart definitely uses UPCs to track everything. I've done in store pick up and online order and haven't had this issue before.

At least for Earthrise Deluxes, this has been an ongoing issue across the board with Walmart.

It's a widespread issue, as documented in the Walmart thread for over a month now. Bummer!

Both stores track stock by assortment, not by individual figure (this is why, for example, you have to use the assortment SKUs to track stock using Brickseek). Target prevents store pickup for figures that are part of an assortment to avoid this issue; Walmart does not.

Apologies if someone already mentioned this, but Grapple is $22 on Amazon ($21 if you don't mind a dinged up box).

Also Cyberverse Deluxe Grimlock is down to $12...I bought one at this price, but I can't recommend him...his leg transformation is a mess.

    Interesting.... good to know.
That's really interesting because if you have a walmart account and you buy something it seemed to be able to locate it via the UPC. maybe that has changed?
Even on receipts it's the entire figure's UPC, where as target just uses the DPCI on receipts.
If none of that has changed, then it's quite a disconnect between their online buying and how their purchasing system literally handles it and returns.
