This is why working retail sucks. "Uncooperative employees"= employees doing their job and following company policies. Why SHOULD you be given a refund if an item gets clearanced? Had you not bought it someone else likely could/would have. Thats the gamble of clearance prices. Is it worth it for me at this price or should I wait and see if it goes cheaper but potentially miss out on it.

Well, I was lucky and they had no problem with making the price adjustment.

See, that's good! On the other hand, I was told on the phone today that they wouldn't do a price adjustment on a clearance item.

Having worked retail for 10 long years, during the holidays and superbowls and whatnots, and being the consumer whore that I am, I see both sides of the same coin.

On the one hand you have the employee who is following the rules, as much as they may disagree with them.

On the other hand, you have honest customer who would appreciate the break and a little leway will keep them loyal and coming back for more.

That's why I always check here first. If there's an online sale/coupon where the employee actually gets to do their job by the book AND enforce some customer loyalty, well that's a win-win.

I picked up a Netflix Voyager Megatron for $25 today at my local Walmart. They aren't carrying the Voyagers beyond the display from earlier in the year so this is a very YMMV deal. They had the Earthrise Voyagers on the top shelf which they also aren't stocking but I didn't feel like getting them to check it.

Does anyone know how to check Earthrise stuff at Walmart on Brickseek? I can't see to get it to work with UPC numbers or anything.

I would like to know this too. $25 for Netflix Megs or Hotlink would be a steal.

    For those in the USA

From Oct to Dec, if you have a Chase Freedom Card, it's 5% back when using paypal or at walmart up to $1500 in purchases
From Oct to Dec, if you have a Discover Card, it's 5% back at amazon.com, walmart.com, target.com (don't think it's in-store) up to $1500 in purchases

Well from the consumer's perspective this just looks like it is the luck of the draw on what rep you get and what mood they may be in.

Because according to Targets own rules there should be zero problems with this. Targets posted price match garauntee states...

"If you find a current lower price within 14 days after purchase, just bring in the proof and we will adjust your payment to the lower price, upon request. Target store price matches and adjustments are completed at the store on any lane. For Target.com purchases, call Target.com Guest Services at 1-800-591-3869."

It does say that it excludes clearance items, though.

Thanks for this! I’ve never heard of them, but with this sale picked up the last G1 Targetmaster I was missing (Slugslinger) for a good price. One more G1 box checked off!

Anyone know of any good Amazon JP codes? Also curious if credits on Amazon.com would also transfer to amazon.jp?

Have never seen an Amazon JP code, and the two sites are completely separate. You'll need to create a new login for Amazon.jp. Amazon.jp does have a points back thing though that you can apply to future orders once they ship.

So I just got a shipping notification from Zavvi for my Quintesson Judge preorder from March 16. For those keeping score: they did end up adding local sales tax so the final charge was 22.99+tax; they did not charge until just a couple of days ago.

While waiting for this to ship I did receive a couple of "your order is delayed" emails.
