BBTS is listing July, as is EE.

That said, I wouldn't call "ships and sold by" listings a scam.

Sometimes the release dates get bumped up a few weeks but my overall observation is that BBTS and EE get stuff out faster. From what I have heard, they frequently take possession at the freightyard where it enters the country and, being a smaller and more focused operation, get it out faster whereas Target and Walmart tend to take possession only after Hasbro ships it out and then it has to filter through their distribution system so it has to go via cheap freight from California to Rhode Island (and Hasbro's west coast warehouse if there is one) and from Rhode Island to national distribution centers and then to trucks and then to regional distribution centers and then by trucks to back rooms.

 

Does anyone know... can you place a Target order that contains one in-stock item and one pre-order item (to get the BOGO sale)? And if so, does the in-stock item ship right away, or does it get held till the pre-order comes in? Thanks!

missing out on overload is gonna haunt me

 

It was in my cart but sold out during checkout. We have the rest of the week for it to be back in stock.  

 

It's not a scam, it's a promotion, one which they have done many times before. BOGO sales are common to see every few months. Good timing for us with the new figures coming out. The BOGO is not specifically for Earthrise, or for Transformers for that matter, it's for a selection of toys in general. Can't be a scam if they don't charge until it ships anyway.

Besides, it's been said before, Earthrise pre-orders are up on many other sites. Keep in mind, this is just a really nice coincidence Target had a BOGO sale the same week these go up for pre-order. I look at this more of a really great opportunity instead of looking for some sort of negative.

I think someone said before the links don't work. They do, work, for the item pages, but in-store stock is quite inaccurate. I was standing at my local Target with a slew of Grapples in front me. Yet both Brickseek and Target's site & app both indicated as unavailable.

It would appear it depends on how the systems update information.

 

how likely is it that they'll restock pre orders?

 

Brickseek hasn't worked for Target since PotP Wave 1. The target app doesn't seem to show specific figures.

 

Sold out Sunday and restocked overnight, I'd take it as a positive it will again.

Target app is hit or miss.

When using Brickseek, it's also a crapshoot because the size class often use the same DCPI numbers. I believe the figures themselves have different UPC codes though, there is where you may have a change of finding specific figures.

 

Did anyone get their items last year when they had a similar sale after toy fair?

 

Can someone let me know how long that Target buy 1 get 50% off last?

Has anybody tried getting a price adjustment for things they bought before the sale started? I just picked up OP on Saturday and of course Astrotrain was there and I passed. Would love to find him again and get him for free to boot.
