Remember this next year when waiting on the inferior BF sales. It's always within a week of BF that the real sale happens... a la Predaking

Except that Omega, for whatever reason, has been selling out of a lot of shops. That, and you need to remember the incoming TARIFFS are playing havoc with retail orders (as mentioned by Hasbro in their disastrous earnings call recently).

I'm not saying the Titan retail pattern will change this year (or next), but it's likely the inventories will be much smaller than Trypticon or Predaking. One proof is that Omega did not hit sub-$100 during any sale (thus far), and the other proof is that he's currently listed at $186.16 by Walmart. It's a large item, so you would think Walmart would not RAISE the price... unless they had low inventories (Target, Amazon, and Hasbro Pulse are sold out of Omega!). I don't recall seeing any Titan listed as "sold out" during the past Xmas seasons (and I'd attribute this to the Tariff shenanigans, not prudent planning by Hasbro).

I'm still waiting on a Predaking deal, but they've been ridiculously elusive. Hasbro eBay sales don't count because while $65 is an amazing price, you'd have an easier time being hit by lightning than getting your order through on time! :lol

    Just a reminder:

10% off Target gift cards today, don’t activate until tomorrow. This week is also $25 off $100 and $10 off $50 on toys.

So take whatever a Rainmakers pack is where you live. Subtract $10. (EDIT: No Red Card discount because the payment method will be a gift card but you can get 1% Circle cash back.) Buy a Target gift card for that TODAY for 10% off that. Buy tomorrow.

Or if you like, plan for Earthrise figures by getting a gift card now for 10% off you can use then.

The gift card deal is today only and cards don’t activate until tomorrow.

$10 off $50/$25 off $100 is all week from today through Saturday.

So you CAN stack the deal by buying gift cards today and using them later in the week. Or sit on the gift cards until what you want is in stock or until after Christmas sales.

It also partners well again this year with the 20% off coupon that Target offered on Black Friday.

Good info you put out there. I'd also noted how he seemed to be sold out at some many retailers, which hadn't really happened for the previous Titans before Christmas. Also odd to see the upcharge at Walmart. All that being said, he's back in stock at Amazon. I wasn't sure if that would happen or not honestly... worth looking to see if he gets another sale now!

Where is the transcript of this call? Tariffs are a variable cost, not fixed (note: they likely wouldn’t be included in EBIT calculations, though) and wouldn’t effect inventories in this way.

Additionally, it is only a fear of tariffs impacting the market currently. I am not aware of any actual tariffs in effect. And honestly, I don’t think toy retailers/manufacturers are as afraid as they lead on to be. The likelihood of tariffs on toys for the holiday season is laughable. I’d be shocked if they went into effect. It would be political suicide.

Comments on the tariffs were more general as it pertains to the industry, not about Transformers. In fact, the tariffs should have little impact on the TF line as they are currently being made in Vietnam.

This has been going on for a while now. It's a targeted coupon that not everyone gets. I don't have it. :(

That's an exaggeration. I'm not going to dispute that some people may have had problems, but I ordered early Black Friday. Everything shipped out that day and arrived 3 days later.
