He's also being pulled back by treads, presumably from the 7th Constructicon (who Bumblebee was fighting in a desert clip seen previously).

 

Y'know what, I'm actually prepared to say that ILM should get the 2010 Oscar on the strength of Jetfire's transformation alone. It looks like a prawn shrivelling, and you can feel the pain just by looking at it. Fantastic!  

Also, REALLY didn't expect to see any of the Devastator combination, but what they did show was just enough to whet the appetite without spoiling the whole moment. Look at this picture:



Are those teeth I can see starting to show under Mixmaster's hood? I hope so; the sight of that monstrous head erupting out of the cement truck is going to be one of the most dramatic bits of the whole shot, and this makes it look really nasty, as it should be. Give ILM a second Oscar!  

That aside, awesome ads; all the individual bits we've heard about look like they're meshing pretty well. I also find it most amusing that Jetfire and Skids, two of the characters that people were freaking out most over, are the two that have really impressed me; I loved the clip of Jetfire's voice, and I really like Skids's too. I sincerely hope it is Tom Kenny, but if not he still sounds good enough for me.

In recent years CGI has been so overused in big movies that it's all become much of a muchness but ROTF looks like it'll be the most memorable use of such technology since the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park.

Just saw the "Forms" teaser, and frankly this movie just keeps getting better and better. Jetfire's transformation in the Smitshonian is awesome, but Devestator combining was the real main detail in that comercial, I mean, it appears that he litteraly rises from the ground as the constructicons unite into him!

 

LOL. I just noticed Sam & Mikaela are standing behind Prime when he falls from the Fallen's teleport impact : they nearly got squished.

...and Jetfire has a spontanious crotch mini explosion there. Maybe he's happy to see the Fallen...

 

They flip shots in trailers all of the time; it's to help them flow better with the surrounding shots — shots that don't actually follow or precede said shot in the real edit of the film.

 

Case in point, the transforming Mixmaster looks over to the right in that shot, which is the same direction Devastator is facing in the following one.
