Yea I think all the rogue one face print rereleases were shipped in individual case packs as they were fan channel and some were exclusives

 

I happened to be at an out of the way Ollie's a few weeks ago and picked up the entire wave of the retro Real Ghostbusters figures/ghosts/Stay Pufft. The cashier mentioned that I was lucky to have found them when I did because she always sees the same dude come in and literally buys all of the Marvel Legends, Star Wars, and GB toys whenever they get them in.

 

Yeah this is what folks do, whether working for a store, collectors, custom fodder seekers, who knows.

I've done it (WFC ER Substreaker, after taking one for my own collection) but not entire end caps. Usually I'll see one I want and will pick up one or two extra if I can afford to

Lately not so much, for equally moral and economic reasons. That said Ollie's seems to get specific figures rather than whole waves...love seeing that TVC Last Jedi Rey EVERYWHERE

I stopped at a Burlington today and they had nothing.

 

I’ve seen Lady Jaye at Ollies.

 

This, like secondhand smoke, makes me sad inside.

 

I stop in my local Ross and Burlington every couple weeks and almost never see anything notable. This is probably a pretty dry time for a lot of these places anyway.

 

My ollies has a ton of lady Jaye and movie baroness. 12.99 a pop. Lots of eternal and Dr strange 2 marvel legends. No fortnite boat or transformers though. Not seen anything in Ross in about 2 months. I keep forgetting to check the Burlington stores.

 

these discount stores stock based on season. The big toy seasons are Christmas and Easter, so they rarely get new product outside those times of year

 

Can confirm the whole individual case thing. I’ve been fortunate to find some retro Mandalorian, Death Troopers, and Bo Katan at various Ollies. Each figure was the only one in the store. One had a wall of TVC Rey, another had a handful of ROTJ TVC Leia.

For Ghostbusters one store had 6” Slimed Venkman, another had slimed Egon. Finally another had Retro Venkman, Bug Eye and Fearsome Flush plus one lone retro Ray plus the keychain plushies.

 

Last time I was at Burlington they had Roadblock and Lady Jaye for $7.99 each along with some Cyberverse Transformers.

 

Ross in NJ finally had the coronation Starscream for 14.99 over the weekend. Plus the same rhinox and tigatron for $20 that have been sitting there for maybe a year at this point.

 

These recently started showing up at the local 99 cent only stores. Cheap enough to impulse buy a whole set for the "collect to build" Zaku figure. Not the best quality but good for those who want some cheap throwaway Gundam action figures.

 

Same. I've been frequenting Ross for months, and I never did see a coronation Starscream although I've found lots of other characters. Today I finally found one.  

 

I found a couple sets of coronation starscream and Netflix voyagers. I got some of each for custom fodder along with sideswipe and skywarp. Never could find the tmnt power ranger shredder. Got on sale later anyways. But I've been hunting for that stupid fortnite boat at Ollie's with no luck. I'm lucky to find the glider and the mini arcade weapons caches. Just recently got the Jaye and baroness snake eyes movie figs. And think overpriced at 12.99.

 

That may have been true in the past, but just isn't the case any longer. For the last few years companies have moved stock on to discounters at more reguler intervals than just Christmas/Easter periods. Ollie's in particular has had great Summer assortments. This is likely to continue for at least a little while (until tne economy shapes up).
