Only Super 7 brags on the box about a whole 7 points of articulation.  

 

Those Super7 Super Cyborgs are normally $85. Not sure why they are so expensive normally. I suppose their size, maybe small production run? I think it also plays into the Japanese vinyl toy collecting sub-culture where some old and rare items are crazy expensive.

$60 is still a bit much for me. If they were really $35 I'd probably convince myself to get one.

 

The one I saw had an orange tag that said $35.99. Not sure what the reason for the discrepancy is.

It's normal for Burlington to use red or orange tags for items reduced further or clearance.

 

I have visited my local Ross, nothing yet but will keep checking. Sometimes it's local stuff

 

Another person in the Utah Sightings thread found them in their Ross as well. I’d say give it some time, it’s likely they’re coming but haven’t hit saturation.

 

Got one (seeker) off walmart.com for $25, so they must be trying to get these things gone, I could see them ending up at Ross.

 

Don’t see why not. The beast wars rereleases are making it there. Got the skorponok for 15. Don’t see why other exclusives wouldn’t

 

Except the price Super7 charges is almost what you'd pay for a hand-painted vinyl toy, not something semi-mass produced.

 

Scored a set of Walmart exclusives Netflix. primal and sparkless seeker! Only one of each at the north conroe tx store. All the power ranger shredders were gone tho and still no sign of the star wars black series clone troopers!

 

True, that's kind of what I was getting at. Super7 is targeting those collectors who normally expect to pay a lot for such things. I feel like all their stuff is like that. I mean near $20 for a simple 5 POA Reaction figure is nuts.

 

For me, most Super7 product lines seem great for inbox collectors. They display really well and look premium. Out of the package though, they don't feel worth the money. Don't get me wrong, I like some a lot of what they've done but compared to other lines, the lack of articulation, including a bunch of accessories you likely won't use while skipping ones you want, it just feels like less bang for your buck once you get past the packaging.

 

There are cheap clone troopers out there? And I am stuck in quarantine.

Of course, for all I know, I got it raiding Walgreens toy clearances…so…I guess there’s an irony there.
