My local Ross restocked with the Battle in Time 2 pack, some more Tigatrons, and more Slammers.

Didn’t find Kingdom Megatron or retro Scorponok. But found Marvel Legends Infinity War Captain America. Also found A Squad Green and SPD Green Rangers

Interesting that they are still pulling these out from wherever. The one closest to me has had one Pipes and the same Tigertrons for weeks.

REJOICE!! I found Reissue Scorponok at Burlington. I'm not a fan of the meat beasts so I didn't pick him up. And the lines to the register these days is super long. 20221220_193158.jpg 20221220_193147.jpg

I went to six different dd's over the last week and only found the same three as well, so I'm guessing they haven't been distributed yet.

I also found Slammer at most of those stores.

I'm trying to decide if the reissue Scorponok is worth owning if I already have the Kingdom version...

I've only ever found 2 of those at DD's. That one you have there and the one that is an excavator. Not that I've been looking very hard. The handful of DD's in my area are out of my way to get to.

Two different type of figures. Kingdom is for more cartoon accurate looking display while the vintage is just a fun toy with gimmicks. Like all the other vintage beast war reissues, they’re more toy than collector figure. If I’m going to pick up a Scorponok figure to mess around with for fun I’m choosing the vintage. Kingdom would stay on shelf as a display piece. I get they’re both toys, but one is more toy than the other if that makes sense

Years ago, I found these 3 KOs of a 3rd party Dev at some discount store: Scavenger, Bonecrusher, and Scrapper. I never saw the other 3 shown on the box. I wondered if they even made the full set, or just went through the trouble of making the 3, figuring people would buy them in hopes of completing the set later.

I went to the closest dd's discount store near me today. I found 3 of the "Powerful Working Machine" Excavator KO for $9.99 each.

Yes, I did buy one. The line for checkout was very long. Some old lady cut in line of everyone. She seems confused when security tried to explain to her that the line starts way back in the other direction. In spite of that, she went ahead and checked out anyway. :p

I also found another KO. This one is called "Transform Robot." It's a 2 Pack and costs $4.99.

Looking at the bottom of the box for both KOs, they're made by the same company, "Auxo."

Finally, there's one "non-mint" TF WFC Slammer for $10.99.

I plan to check out two more dd's discount stores tomorrow. Both are pretty far away though (about 20-25 minutes drive).

Oh, I also went to a "5 Below" store today and can confirm that hw/mbx costs $3.25 each for basic/mainline. I scanned two at the self checkout and they both show "$3.25." That puts "5 Below" as the most expensive place to buy basic hw/mbx. The second is Fanboys stores at $3. The third is "Movie Trading Company" stores at $1.99. :(

It’s a really simplified KO of the generation toy Devastator. I have a few of the limbs.

Oh my lord. Those “transform robots” are KO of Lego hero factory. Even though Bionicles have so much nostalgia to them, hero factory was a big step up in terms of plastic/building quality.

Found the Vintage Reissue Tigatron at Burlington in NH yesterday for $9.99, while searching for Scorponok.

I braved the cold weather and went to 2 more 'dd's Discounts' stores today. The rest are too far away (> 25 minutes drive).

I found 3 more KOs at the first store. The first one looks to be an Optimus Prime KO called "Morph->Bot Mutators" for $4.99. It's part of the "Morphbot" toy line by "TC Toys." The toy color doesn't match the box picture (yellow chest instead of red; red instead of blue body paint). It must be a "rare" collector variant/chase! Super valuable! Quick, go eBay it for $$$! :p

The second KO is called "Power Robot Universe Warrior" for $12.99. It's made by "Mega Gain Ltd." It comes packed with one robot and 2 smaller robots. 3 for one, what a deal! :)

I've seen the third KO's toy line at ROSS/Burlington stores too. It's called "M.A.R.S. Converters" Earthmover for $11.99. It's made by "Happy Kid Toy Group Ltd." I picked up a few of these from Burlington last year (Cybotronix "Bony Stegosaur," "Goldy Dragon," and "T-Rex"). They're pretty bad all around. :(

They had one non-KO TF. It's "WFC Pipes" for $10.99. However, you can find him at ROSS for a dollar less.

The second store had one "Shovel Truck" "Powerful Working Machine" for $9.99. There's also another KO for $7.99 called "Robot War." I couldn't find the company who made it on the box though.

That's all the 'dd's Discount" stores for me folks.

I picked up that lime green Power Robot Universe Warrior a couple years ago, it's pretty cool on the merit of the G1 Soundwave head, and that it turns into a late model Explorer/Land Rover.:thumb
