yeah and years past we didn't have a worldwide pandemic that shut down factories and shipping for months. Effects we are still feeling today by smaller companies not being able to afford the shortage containers to ship goods from overseas for months at a time. Which is why target, walmart, meijer, etc all look like run down ghost towns in toy aisles. You probably won't see stuff like the past again until things return to normal around the world for a few years. My suggestion is if you want something order it the minute you get a preorder option. Because even that isn't guaranteed. It's great finding stuff at great discounts but I wouldn't count on it much anymore. It's like trying to find a v75 2020 quarter from the same coke machine and only getting 1 drink a day. And in case you don't know the v75 only had 1million put in circulation and no more and using a coke machine is like trying to only find stuff at Ross. The odds are against you. Some ross across country may have huge treasure troves...my city has 3 Ross's and an Ollies...and they don't ever have jack. And havent since they bought out the unsold TRU stock years ago. My ollies had a pallet of ER Optimus...and was bought out by 1 person to scalp them. Which is another thing you have to fight for. I got lucky finding a siege starscream and springer at Ross before Christmas...but I don't even waste time searching those now. It's a waste of gas and time and spend more searching than I would just buying at regular retail.

They'd have to have to not sell Transformers at msrp in order to discount them, haha. Besides the Cyberverse stuff and dlx Arcee/Blackarachnia I haven't really seen any shelf warmers this year. It would be easy to visit three different stores and assume the Studio Series has been cancelled because there were no figures anywhere. We're 8 months in, and I'd venture to say that between supply, demand and distribution issues this has been the most frustrating year for Transformer purchases (in my experience) since the first Bay movie came out. Even then you could at least find figures, just not the popular characters. I've always hunted, but it's like trying to find the last wave every wave so far. Maybe Christmas will be better, but I doubt it. As far as people hoping for discount chains to get toys? MSRP is your discount, guys. The only decent deals I've had since Covid started have been Amazon warehouse deals, personally.

They had plenty of stuff, just not any mainline TFs that adults buy. They did have the kid line, some one steps, and plenty of bot bots. Plus other Hasbro stuff.

Went back today to check and I did make a mistake, it was Scavenger that they had. So sorry for that.

on top of that what they did get was low stock iirc, wasn't it like 2-4 of the botbots a store at least? i know the bumblebee kids stuff hung around last fall, but not long after. the rosses i've been to since the new year have downsized their toy sections and expanded the car goods section. i bought a car seat back cushion

Just this weeks Ollie's flyer in the mail. Starting tomorrow, they've supposedly got Studio Series deluxes on sale for $9.99.

Are there any other deluxes besides Arcee, the 2 soundwaves, Roadbuster, and Hot Rod at Ollie's? Since most of wave 8-10 are represented, I was wondering if any others showed up or is that where the Buzzworthy figs originated. Kind of want a Shatter (Harrier) for customizing.
I picked up the 'waves and Hot Rod for that reason.

In addition to the figures already found, my Ollies also had the Studio Series Cliffjumper/ROTF Soundwave as well. But for the most part it was Arcee triplets. Also a lone Lancer.

Bristol Ollie's had plenty of WW 2 Hot Rod, a few Soundwave's, and several Arcee sisters and 1 Grapple. No Generations Selects anything. (This was last night.)

YMMV with Ollie’s and all the overstock places. They’re a frequent target of scalpers and what they get on stock can vary. I’ve given up on getting anything from Ollie’s in the Cleveland area for that reason.

I haven't seen a Transformer in any of our Ollie's since... I don't know, Trypticon? It's been a long time. Also: what maniac is scalping old Studio Series figures? The whole reason they're in Ollie's is because nobody wanted them.

The toy section in my local Ollie's always looks like a tornado has gone through it. Including the top shelves where the kids can't reach.
