I checked the only Ollie's near me last weekend (and plan to keep checking every weekend) -- but they only had Astrotrain. They were on the top shelf next to action figure pegs.

It looks like some ollie's got ER Wv1, optimus/astrotrain, while others got Wv2 with doubledealer replacing astrotrain.
Hope find the right asst soon.

Has Earthrise wave 3 voyagers shown up anywhere? We have fairly good distribution in our area but I never saw anything after we where flooded with Snapdragons at Christmas.

Do they carry Transformers? Always thought they carry clothes or dollar toys only

There have been a few Transformers at Five Below over the years. When I was there last week, they still had a couple of tiny Skullgrins and a few "evergreen" Legion-sized characters.

It is kinda curious that these discount stores are on the rise as of late.

Years ago, it was big news when somehow Five Below got Reveal the Shield scout class figures that somehow hadn't made it to major retailers. It was Windcharger and a new Decepticon named Chopsaw.
Reveal the Shield Scout Wave 1 Archives - Transformers Toys - TFW2005

I skipped Chopsaw, but RtS Windcharger is a great figure. Not a perfect homage to G1 Windcharger, but I liked it so much that I skipped the more faithful Power of the Primes version years later. I mean, they gave him fists that rotated around to his electromagnets.

I don't recall anything major otherwise, but I imagine searching this thread might reveal something I've forgotten.

Considering they're basically carrying "made in china" stuff, which is just bunch of cheap stuff that may not even be regulated yeesh...

So basically stuff you'd find at most of the bigger chain stores, Well. At least that along with the lower-tier quality stuff & perhaps with more knock-offs in this case. Most stores seem to be filled the the stuff, sadly.

I remember hitting Five Below in Austin Texas and they had TF Prime RID deluxes for $5 at one point. I also have seen the TF Authentics Bravo and POTP Pretenders there. They also have Mega Construx sets as well.

They’ve spread like wildfire in the Miami area during the last 2 years. I haven’t seen a TF worth buying, though. Price restrictions will keep anything above a Legend out of their stores. I remember a Star Wars tank showed up for $10 a couple of years ago, but none of the 3 locations I went to had any.

They seem to always have Transformers. I even remember hunting down some of the rarer Speed Stars there. One part of the article really stood out, which I think it ties into the Toys R Us news. This is a good time to get favorable leases. Toys R Us can come back without the crippling debt load and have the ability get better lease deals. Overall, the more stores, the better!

I was extremely happy when they stocked the Botbots Bakery Bytes sets. Botbots are perfect, price-appropriate stuff to carry, would love to see Series 5 blindpacks, just sayin'...

Five below is just like Marshalls/TJX/Ross, in that they stock leftover stuff that normal stores don't carry, but they also stock cheapie stuff that normally shows up in drug stores and what not (toy wise).

Five Below is a pretty good place to get cheap tech items too, like charger cords, plugs, charge pads, earbuds, etc. Just have realistic expectations.

As far as Transformers go, they do appear there, but again have decent expectations on it. I'd imagine all of the battlemasters and minicons from the Siege Trilogy are good candidates to appear there in the future, as well as stuff from evergreen line. I don't expect to see any deluxe scale figures, though it isn't impossible. I've found some of the Marvel figures there, especially from the lines with the "build a figure" pieces (6 inch figures maybe?).
