How much was Astrotrain at Ross? Is the deal as good as the $20 at Ollie for the leader class? I only saw Earthrise Prime once at retail so distribution is weird. Still haven’t seen Earthrise Megatron at retail.

 

i paid $18.99 plus tax for siege astrotrain at Ross. $20 for a leader class is just as good in my opinion..

 

Astrotrain and Siege Ultra Magnus were seen for $17.99 at some Ross stores back in October. I haven't seen any of the leaders at my local Ollie's yet but looking on some group pages, Optimus Prime, Double Dealer and Astrotrain have all been spotted at some Ollie's for $19.99.

Havent been keeping up with this thread, is $20 ER Optimus being found at TJ Maxx or Ross? Or is it just Ollies?

(No Ollies locations on the West Coast).

How about Shockwave? I've been holding out to see if there are any deals. I know he is seige, but hoping anyway.

 

Shockwave didn't show up at discount stores, and probably won't at this point since they seem to have moved to ER already.

Keep in mind that discounters typically get unsold warehouse stock (as in, stock not purchased from Hasbro by retailers), not excess stock from stores. So the Siege Leaders that showed up at discount stores were Ultra Magnus and Astrotrain, since they were in the final wave that was barely stocked by retail chains (partially due to all those shelfwarming Shockwaves).

Found 2 Astrotrains at a Buffalo Olllies tonight. They weren't there yesterday.

 

Knok & Skar (with Spy Patrol 3rd Unit) were delivered today from HTS, which motivated me to go out and check the local Ollie's for Doubledealer. Found a bunch of him (lots of bad paint apps) and Optimus. I was tempted to rebuy OP at this price but passed for now. Would have bought Astrotrain too if they had it, but I figure stores are getting either him or DD, not both since they were in different waves.

Ollie's also had Rung and Slitherfang for $4.99, almost missed them at the bottom of the pegged toys section.

Also went to TJ Maxx while I was out and found Soundbarrier and Smashdown for $3.99 each.

 

I only find dirty floors and disrepair at my local Ollies.

 

Its funny, the Ollies by me closed last summer then they opened a new store closer to town and the new one already looks beat up and dusty, and its only been like 6 months.

 

I think Ollie s has only two employees working at any given time. It’s almost impossible to find one on the floor cause they’re jammed up at the registers

 

I went to my local Ollie’s in south GA 3 times in the last month looking for an extra Double Dealer, Astrotrain or Optimus Prime for my son. First week they had 4 Netflix Ultra Magnus, second week they had 6 Netflix Ultra Magnus, and third week 12 Netflix ultra Magnus. No battle/micro masters or any other Transformers.

 

Saw this at Marshall's last night.

 

I checked all three Ollie's here, and only one of them had some ER Micromasters. No Netflix Magnuses, no ER Leaders. Very grim.

Also checked one of the Marshalls and nothing there either.

 

Saw one of those myself yesterday.

I've hit a few Marshalls and they seem to be getting one Soundbarrier apiece.

They've also got Cyberverse "Sonic Swirl" Slipstream for $8.

Overall, still not worth the COVID risk.

 

Damn. So did we get screwed out of tfs this year(easter) from ross? There's still a small handful of ER figs I don't want to pay fool price for.

 

Is Optimus showing up in Ollies at a particular place in the store aside from the dedicated toy aisle, like an end cap or one of those random displays they'll throw out in the middle of everything?
