So I’m guess no chance of finding a MPM Ironhide or Megatron at Ross right now huh? Also had anyone seen anything interesting at 5 Below? I’m near one right now and was thinking about going in there.

I really wish they would put some Ollie stores here I Houston. Like they could put some in some of the Pier 1 Imports and Palais Royal stores that have closed down. I’m surprised they have not put any in the Toys R Us stores that got shut down.

 

i just went to a 5Below this morning off I-10/Fry. all they had were about 5-6 of these Bumble Bee's, no price tag, didn't feel like asking for a price check.



went to Ross in Richmond/Rosenberg last week, very few toys, no TF or SW stuff.

On my way home last night, stopped at 3 Ross stores that were adjacent to some targets, and each was bare (with the exception of seeing a few pink fortnite 6" figures). I think there's potentially a timing connection from when Target finishes clearancing toys and they eventually get sent to the Ross & DDs, since I recall mcx game thrones thrones, and cyberverse sharkticon & quintessons going through target's 30%->50%->70%off cycle before appearing at Ross.

Since target is going through a cycle of that clearancing of toys now, it's probably a matter of time. Now I'm also wondering it timings are coordinated/coinciding with financial quarters.

Looking forward to seeing a few waves of 6" scaled figures at these places. Seems like years since 5below got an entire BAF/C&C set (or at least more than half).

 

So any Earthrise stuff popping up yet?

 

I wouldn't expect any until summer.

This is correct. Ross/Marshalls/etc get two big stock pushes each year: Mid November (for Christmas) and just before Easter (which is the 2nd biggest toy sales time AND conveniently right around the end of the fiscal year so companies tend to dump stock)

 

Do you think we will see Netflix Megatron anywhere? I've been eyeing to pick that up at a decent price.

I feel there is a chance it could, it sort of shelf warmed for awhile in my area.

 

I think the Netflix Walmart exclusives would be likely discounter potential by that point.

 

A single figure shelfwarming doesn't have anything to do with items coming to discount stores. Walmart/Target clearance out extra stuff in their own stores as needed. The only time things make it to discounters is when Hasbro has extra stock that the stores didn't order. Very rarely do they make exclusives in quantities higher than what the retailers they were exclusive to ordered initially. There are exceptions, but normally those are items that never made it to retail (ie: the store cancelled the order).

 

I thought prime had hit discount. Pretty sure there were ross sightings.

 

I saw the normal Earthrise Optimus at a Ross but have never seen any of the Netflix branded stuff.

 

Earthrise Prime and Astrotrain already hit Ross about two months back.

 

Netflix would be nice. I would totally get a back up prime. With the Netflix version it would be less than the earthrise definitely.

 

i believe Netflix UM was the only Netflix figure to go on clearance at Walmart. Netflix Wheeljack did shelfwarm for a while, but didn't see him go on clearance. And since Netflix was exclusive, we most likely won't see any at discount stores.

 

My Ollie’s still has a bunch of WFC spoiler Ultra Magnus figures for 25$.
