Exactly. Either way, the Studio Series toys are looking phenomenal and I am going to buy them regardless of their accuracy to the film.

arm cannon is kinda the least of my worries with optimus(Studio Series), the biggest concern for me is how they handle the grillguard without it becoming either a fold down kibble butt-flap or making the backpack even more bulky.

I hope that either design they went with forced them to improve the legs which were the biggest problem with SS38, but I am worried they did nothing to improve profile of the torso, which looked way too boxy for me in SS38, I owned it for a bit but just ended up getting rid of it. I know it\'s nit-picky but I was really hoping they would find a better way to collapse the backpack in a way that would give him a better taper. I like the control art but the control art feels like it results in just a mild repaint to the SS38 toy, the movie version seems like it would have forced more of a redesign, maybe even partsforming some kibble into the gun bazooka

I still don\'t understand why the optimus figure coming out is a Buzzworthy one, are they just gonna slap a repaint of SS38 in stores under the buzzworthy line so there is some kind of optimus to buy when the movie comes out?

 

I LOVE how you can take these designs, and turn them into a cartoon no problem! Just shows how awesome and faithful they are.

There seems to be a lot of emphasis on the Autobots and Maximals when it comes to apprarel and the like. I know its a marketing thing, but will there be stuff for the bad guys as well?
