Victory fans, I hope you support this, or it’s likely we won’t get this kind of opportunity for a long time. For years, people have clamored for a new CHUG Star Saber (and potential Victory Leo) and now that the opportunity has arisen, people who said “I WANT STAR SABER” are now saying “…BUT NOT LIKE THIS!” Put your money where your mouth is so we can get even more Victory toys in the future!

It could mean more widespread recognition of Japanese G1. So yeah I'd be screaming about this from the rooftops even if you don't plan on contributing.

I'm totally down for a Victory Saber. JG1 is my jam, man. Id prefer they start mixing more of these characters into the mainline rather than just doing more 1984/1985, but at this point I guess I'll take what I can get.

I wonder if it'll be cartoon accurate or if they'll take some liberties. Will it use a titan master or have a new brainmaster? Could they do similar to the Flame Toys and put the lion head on the chest of the combined mode? A mix of JG1 and IDW perhaps? Something new? Definitely hoping for lots of sculpted detail, I don't need lots of smooth surfaces since I already have the MP.

Either way I'm excited to see this and excited to get it.

Only you can answer that lol

Sounds like this will be a CHUG-style Star Saber (possibly with Victory Leo). I hated MP Star Saber, but definitely excited to what a modern Generations figure could do. MP-24 was too wonky and fiddly, but that’s just me

The MP is already pretty close to CHUG scale; he's as tall as a combiner in the show. If this isn't great I might just buy one of those instead and get a Simba to go with it. It's way more expensive, but the quality will probably be better. I hope they knock this out of the park though and save me the money I'd spend on Star Saber, Simba, KFC hands, and the upgrade kit.

I believe a limited release crowdfunding figure will be worth the contribution price regardless of comparison to similar size class figures due to that fact that it'll be 100x harder to come by and will never be sold again.

As loud as the BW fans are, they don't put their money where their mouth is. In the NYC area all I see is Kingdom beast wars collecting dust and any and every vehicle mode transformer is gone except Arcee.

BW as a Haslab is a hard pass for me, and there isn't anything worthy of a Haslab in scale or wow factor. The JG1 has a much larger crowd imo.

Reliable Leakers have already said it's Star Saber, with Victory Leo as the stretch goal.

Heck when they accidently leaked it they had to go radio silent for a few days.

Not really, SG Jetfire kind of proves that Commanders can still be big guys

Anecdotal evidence isn't evidence, in my area the beasts get bought up instantly and it's the vehicles that have been sitting

I mean they're doing a Beast Wars movie so I doubt it's doing that bad.

I\'m sure whatever it is will be great but I\'m gunna have to pass for the same reason I did the last transformers crowd fund. I won\'t support a tf haslab project until they make one for g1 grand galvatron.

So Hasbro is doing the whole corporate welfare thing again like they did with unicron for Victory.

Seems a bit silly to lock this into a crowdfunding campaign. In this day and age, what’s the difference between this and someone like Jetfire? How much does recognizability actually do for a release?

I'm not totally disagreeing with you, but there's a bit of a difference between a couple of accessories and a Marvel Legends figure versus an entire secondary figure large and complex enough to combine with the main thing. If I had to guess, backing above a certain price might grant one Victory Leo if the stretch goal is met. I'm just speculating though.

There\'s a strong chance that I\'ll back whatever this is, so long as it\'s CHUG.
