Small changes? WFC Trilogy Ravage is almost a completely different mold. The only thing it shares is the front beast legs and the bot legs from the knee down. That's hardly small changes.

Got him yesterday. Fun figure, although I’m concerned a bit about how easily the paws pop off. If anyone wants the box, let me know. It’ll probably be 8-10 for shipping (sorry I’m outside continental US, so a little pricier). If not it’s gonna get trashed

For those of you that opened it - can you confirm if the metal upon the G1 Ravage Cassette looks tarnished or unpolished/treated? It appears to be the exact same metal that is also pictured present upon J Balvintron as well. I also noticed that there happens to be either warping or bowing in the rear legs retracted under the tail.

It appears Hasbro has cheapened out in the materials production of our favorite crack. I would be very careful as this type of metal, I suspect, will be more subject to corrosion than the older metals previously used. Just a heads up!

    Yeah.
Thankfully I was mainly in this for BW Ravage.
G1 Cassette is just a bonus.

Agreed. I’d call it a new mold that reuses a portion of Cheetor’s legs. I guess it’s semantics how you want to describe it. Regardless, I wouldn’t even really compare it to Cheetor since the mold looks like it fits between deluxe and voyager size.

I've had mine for a few days, but I wanted to ask.
What's a good way to loosen a joint? Both of Ravage's upper arm swivels are scarily tight.

49603AB8-B6FA-41F8-9B9F-C700764243C6.jpeg Doesn’t really feel like a retool, it’s only got the lower legs and the alt mode front legs in common with cheetor

Hey-o, I can confirm on my copy that the diecast looks unpolished as well. The only other G1 figure I have is Takara's last Prime reissue, but the difference is night and day. Same goes for all of my figures that have diecast; it was off-putting right out of the box to see how tarnished it looked. Which is too bad, because Ravage looks great with both sides tampoed up...

MISSASEMBLY ALERT: Have you all noticed the front Jaguar legs need to be swapped? They don't fold forward at elbow as well as Cheetor because they're swapped left to right causing elbows to be backwards.

Compare it to your Cheetor and even to the instructions included with Ravage (which have it correct). I might be late but I just got mine open today and didn't catch posts about this sorry if I missed them.

Simply popping off and swapping the entire front Jaguar legs will also improve bot mode since the waist can rotate easier with the tail when the paws have more clearance thanks to elbow bend behind his back.
