    Pull ze string!

(Wrong movie, but Bela rarely gets posted in this forum...)

But honestly, if I do get Splatterpus, I might have to go back and get the toxic green version of the first BMOG set.

The dropped backers can be nerve-wracking when running a campaign, I can say from experience. Hopefully some of the dropped backers will come back as the campaign goes forward. If there are specific issues of concern, those can always be addressed to Rik through the KS messaging system to see if the situation can be improved.

32% of the money is coming from just 20 backers who pledged $900. So whenever one or a few of those backers drops out it's a pretty large blow to the overall total. Those also seem the most likely to get cold feet if all of the stretch goals aren't unlocked.

The "All In" people get an Atomic Splatterpus automatically, since they get everything, but they can ALSO add $12 each to get more Atomic Splatterpi. I mean who only wants ONE?

I'm honestly hoping the first set of glowing tech drones gets unlocked as soon as they get to $80,000, since we know they will already be making those molds at the $80,000 level. They are probably easier to produce too, since they don't need to be painted.

Making him African-American is the right way to go! I don't think too many kids listen to Jazz nowadays so you can call him Rap or Hip-Hop. This will get you over the hump and more I guarantee it!

If they could license the estate of Scattman Crothers to make his likeness as a head shot, you could make your own by popping it on a not-Jazz body. That would be an awesome option.

Unfortunately, we do not have the funds to produce another character that is not based off the Desolataur monster buck with only $80k worth of funding. This is why we've tiered our campaign the way we have. So that each stretch goal helps fund the next item and so on.

For the 2016 wave to happen (or the stretch goals for this matter), the Kickstarter has to succeed.

For many, Kickstarter can be rather counter-intuitive. The initial instinct is to go in on a sure thing, which is why most Kickstarters get a big boost in their last few days. It is easy to forget that you only get charged if the campaign succeeds and then only at the end of the campaign. If you want the big rewards, the stretch goals and things of that nature, it is to your advantage to back early. If the campaign hits the last few days and it hasn't unlocked what you want, you can alter your backing at that time, but by backing early (and backing big) you improve the chances of success.

The campaign is 2/3rds to base-level success, and the moment it hits that point we'll start seeing people rush in to get those stretch goals.

Word of mouth is also a huge help in these circumstances. We've been sending out press releases and posting to message boards, but the enthusiasm of other backers is both invaluable and contagious.

The positive response to Chainbill Splatterpus has been amazing. Thank you, everyone.
