"As an added bonus, the Blu-ray will include an exclusive interactive feature that gives viewers the ability to customize their own robot characters and get a glimpse at a rogue robot. Out of all the available permutations, one will unlock an exclusive interview with Michael Bay about his plans for the next adventure."

"We wanted Sideswipe and Sunstreaker in the film."
"But having badass twins wasn't awesome."
"Yeah, you wanted kids to like them."
"I don't think we wrote the ghetto talk."
"Yeah, didn't we give one a lisp?"
"Yeah, kids think ghetto talk is awesome though."

If this doesn't have Jolt, Arcee, and Sideswipe, then I'm not interested.

I'm curious if all three are gonna be in the same room, or if Michael Bay is gonna George Lucas things and be recorded separately and spliced in.

And yeah ILM commentary = where are youuu~

I have yet to get a blu ray, but this makes me kinda want to get one, kinda.... but it just seems pointless to me. I am still fine with normal DVDs and I find the pricing for blu ray dvds just ridiculous.

    Hi y'all!

Hi guys and gal's..i've been a lurker for a long time, just got around to joining..so excuse my first post..

I, for one, am also really excited for the Blu-ray release--it will be even more visually and audibly spectacular than the first movie--which is still amazing looking and sounding in its own right. For those of you who have not made the change to Blu-ray, i feel you are missing out tremendously. I know finances may dictate that, but if/when you get the chance..DO IT! Putting aside your like or dislike of the two movies or Michael Bay, once you see it in a 'proper' setup, it will change things. Myself, i'm lucky enough to have my own home theatre.. using a 1080p Front Projector (capable of scaling 2.40 aspect movies) with Cinemascope anamorphic lens, projecting on a 125 inch 2.40 aspect ratio screen... even the worst looking Blu discs are fun to watch. But when you put in a Blu ray disc of Transformers, or the best looking disc to date, The Dark Knight (the Imax scenes are ridiculous)...the results are jaw dropping! Once you've seen movies this way, blu ray's or reg dvd's on any tv--flat panel or not-- just won't cut it anymore--you're still watching 'tv'... it's a wonderful time in home entertainment evolution..I'm not kidding, watching movies this way exceeds the experience at the commercial theatres-even the Imax. although technically, my 1080p projector has less resolution than an Imax showing, there is still no contest when it comes to 'appearing' sharper...there's lots of factors contributing to this (screen size, etc) it's hard to explain but when you see it, it's obvious. plus, at home, i can turn the volume up MUCH louder than what's acceptable at commercial theatres... I can't wait for ROTF to come home on Blu...

I bet $10 that it's going to be this:
    ----
Micheal Bay *wiping his mouth with a $100 bill*
Interviewer: Um... so... what's the future hold?
    Micheal Bay: *explodes Building*
    Interviewer: Hello?
Micheal Bay: What? Oh yeah. There's going to be a third one. It's going to be awesome. brb going to count money.

I loved his first commentary. It was very funny and he mentioned everything. He mentioned the "Damn You Michael Bay!" stuff form AICN, the initial rabid fan hate he got which I'm surprised he mentioned.

I also loved how this guy busted into his meeting saying "That not Optimus Prime! That disgrace to Japanese people!" and he hired that guy to design Optimus.

If you haven't listened to it I suggest giving it a listen to. Not many guys can carry a DVD commentary by themselves but he did a great job.
