With the Chinese New Year coming up where shipping pretty much freezes for a month, some might want to factor that into upcoming purchases. I know I will, especially along with who knows what shipping prices will look like afterwards (considering there’s little sympathy for currently furloughed federal workers within its own govt, I don’t imagine those Chinese shipping expense suspicions to subside but rather be potentially ratified... or at least wouldn’t be surprised by such actions).

 

So with those codes you get $5 off when you spend $100? Not sure how sweet a deal that is unless the prices are already below market prices to begin with.

You might want to check target for POTP too, as they’re clearancing them out. Target typically clearances in intervals of 30% off, then 50% off, then 70% off. I picked up:
POTP legends for $3
POTP Prime masters for $1.48,
and saw an RC squeeks that also rang up at 70% off from one target and
a POTP voyager for $11.25 (50% off) from another one.
So obviously, ymmv.

My local Walmart seems in a hurry to dump the reissues. They had a pile of Hot Rods a couple days ago. Went back, and they were had been in the clearance aisle and gone. Not sure what percentage they had been put at, but they seem to have gone quickly.

 

Had the same thing happen here. One day they were $20, then marked down to $15. Then a couple days later, they were all gone. Makes me wonder if ollie's got ahold of them.

 

Pretty sure Ollie's buys excess warehouse stock, not items that are already on shelves.

 

Area Walmarts have had them on clearance for $15 for a few weeks now. I bought another just to have at that tempting good price. I've never seen any Minibots in Iowa, Wisconsin, or Michigan stores I have gone to.

 

Target at least has been known to pull stock once the discount gets too steep and send it to a liquidation warehouse.

I was camping some discounted stuff once and they literally were loading it up to go somewhere else.

 

Yeah, Target eventually donates to Goodwill. Walmart eventually sends it back to the warehouse/manufacturer for credit, but at Manager discretion.

 

This is not true. The donate it to the local goodwill location, not to a liquidation warehouse.
