Not to bad, I'll take the nascars, sentinel prime, megs (who will be renamed), and maybe one other so far. Not bad.

 

How is it that we see Prime Starscream properly transformed but not Megatron?

DOTM Shockwave is still the only non-tiny figure I plan to get. Really liking the new Scout(? whatever it's called now) Powerglide and the Ark.

 

no offense or anything, but i find it highly doubtful that we WILL NOT get a leader class decepticon in this line. autobots sell better at ALL price points, and that is because they are the good guys, and with the kids, good guys always sell better. but that doesn't stop hasbro from making figures in the other size classes. i would be highly surprised if they did not make a SINGLE decepticon leader class toy for this toy line, regardless of how they have sold in the past. there are 2 sides to this franchise, autobot and decepticon. they have to give attention to both of them when it comes to the toys.

now, on the other hand, i would not be surprised if the autobots got MORE leader class toys in this line than decepticons did. the ONLY time i can recall a line getting more decepticon leader figures than autobots, not counting repaints, was the o7 movie line. 2 dcons, one autobot. in every other line, they have made 1 or 2 decepticon leader figures, and 2 or 3 autobots. animated: megs, ultra mag, and bulkhead. ROTF: prime, jetfire, megs, and starscream.

now, im not saying your wrong, i just personally find it highly doubtful that there would be no DCON leaders in this line AT ALL.

 

Well thats quite a bummer...I hope its not true, but if it is, I guess it is. We never got the Fallen or Blackout leaders either...I'm Used to it

Well, guess I won't hold out hope for a Leader Shockwave, then. Sentinel Prime's ultimate level of awesome will probably ease the pain, though.

 

You know, I'm still on the fence about the Basic HA figures. But I'll probably get the snowmobile, Icepick.
That's got to be the first actual snowmobile transformer, right? No, Energon Snowcat doesn't count.

is it me or does primes chest on the ultimate figure look like a spider who wants to eat you/me.

 

Anyone see that official image of leader Ironhide on the home page? His right arm cannon is PUNY lol. Oh well, the combat knife makes up for it IMO.

 

With Leader Ironhide, I'm hoping for three things.
1. Smaller than Leader Optimus.
2. You can attach his voyager arm cannons to him.
3. That battle mask can be flipped up.

 

Agree on all of these, especially #3. The mask alone looks terribly bland  . His first ROTF mold's head was perfect, but all since have used that stupid mouthplate...

Yeah, I'm stoked for that game.

And I'm hoping and actually inclined to think that Ironhide's faceplate will be able to be removed/flipped up, like with some of the HA figures.

 

If all the Leader classes are only Autobots then we can round out the original team (cept poor jazz) with a Leader Ratchet   , since they usually do 4 leaders i wonder who they will do, cause with Sentinel, Bumblebee and then Ironhide that is 3 slots taken up already, maybe they might see which of the voyager Cons sells better and then make a leader of that one.....or maybe.....LEADER CLASS LASERBEAK. that or they bump up to 5 leaders since TF1 and ROTF went from 3 to 4

 

you forgot the LEADER Optimus coming in June in Japan!!

 

Are they ever going to get Ironhide's canons right?!?!

 

Nothing really interests me here unless a black repaint of that Optimus is confirmed .
 
Looks like I'll have to get all CHUG stuff out now, probably get TF3 Shockles and wait til TF: Prime toys come out in the Fall.

I just hope I don't lose my interest in Transformers over the summer.

 

Great job on the sideways pictures. I think an extra ten minutes to prep the photos would of made this preview worth it.
