Thats not the transforming version of Prime is it? He looks different somehow.

 

These are the 3", non-transforming statues.

And they're awful. The poses stink and the molding is all blobby. Prime still looks constipated and Unicron still looks like he's playing basketball.

When do the transforming ones come out?

Unless Unicron and Megatron, who are in the same price class, can transform, he isn't.

 

Sorry. I didn't have a side by side to see and thought may be they made him ugly for some reason. This is Hasbro you know. They have done that in the past.

Like everyone I have been thinking about this ever since Transformers titanium figures were announced some are just badly designed,

I mean to me it just seems that this idea was just bashed together in one night and the characters they picked didnt really surprise me.

Come on doing something unexpected

like i dunno having Predaking in the series or even Octane

 

Man, I think these 3" guys look fairly horrible. I'm not quite sure what Hasbro was thinking.

 

I've seen some TFs in unflattering poses before, but these are stuck in that pose permanently!

 

Considering how nice and sharp the Star Wars Titaniums look, these Transformers appear as if they've passed through a Rhino's digestive system

 

Anyone notice the individualized packaging? I think that's a neat touch. It's a shame the sculpting is a little... um... lacking. They're a bit too round where they shouldn't be.

Actually, they have a couple joints. Notice the fact that BW Megs in package has both arms up, while the out of package pic has only one up. And at Toy Fair, they showed Unicron with his left arm pointed forward, reaching out to grab Cybertron.

Unfortunately, none of those joints are in the legs.

At least were getting the Transforming ones. The Starscream non-tf'ing one looked pretty cool.

 

Has anyone noticed that Unicron and Beast Wars Megatron both come with Decepticon stands and neither one of them are Decepticons?
