My slug had just said "awaiting carrier pickup" the last 5 days.
Same thing for me with the Sharkticons and Slag, which were different orders and both in stock when ordered.
I am one of the people who received 5 Gnaws. But mine were not ordered when they were in stock. I preordered mine two months ago during a sale. I did try to order two more when they were "in stock" but they are "awaiting availability". So anyone who got more than the limit would seem to have been pre-orders. They'll come back into stock eventually, if not here at one of a ton of other retailers just have to be patient.
It isn't so much a matter of being impatient as it's the fact that they were in stock to order and now aren't even available to fill the in-stock orders. I have pre-orders in at HasbroPulse and Amazon, so I know I'll get them eventually, but only ordered the GameStop ones because they were in stock. It makes it feel like a "bait and switch", which is irritating.
I 100% understand and agree. It seems it's becoming more and more prevalent where retailers are unable to fulfill products. It's more irritating when an item is falsely listed as " in stock" though.
If you haven't already then get a FedEx account just to be sure they haven't shipped.
My Slag and Ark both say that but shipped last week.
Looks like Slag is delayed till tomorrow.
While I personally ordered one from Pulse and two from BBTS, I don't think it's appropriate to expect other customers to limit themselves from buying things they actually want and are willing to pay for. The ball is entirely in Hasbro's court to decide who receives which shipments in which order. I have yet to receive my single Gnaw (or Tracks, Transmutate, G2 Ramjet, Sandstorm, and a dozen other things that people have been posting pics of for a month) but I am not upset at anyone that ordered 2 or 3 or 5 or 10 from one or more retailers via honest or dishonest means.
I'll get mine eventually, it'll be OK. Even if Hasbro comes back and says "Sorry, your Gnaw order is cancelled, we ran out and aren't making more," that's STILL 100% on Hasbro for not fulfilling my 1 before they fulfilled someone else's 3. It sucks but not a good reason for me to be grumpy at another member, in my opinion.
Ugh. It is indeed irritating when retailers oversell their pre-orders or misrepresent the status of their inventory. I'm sorry that's happening to you guys.
It's in one warehouse waiting to be shipped to a different warehouse.
Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
Would a FedEx account do me any good if I dont have a tracking number?
Yup, you put in your address and it will tell you when something is coming to you.
I used to get notices via the Fedex app before I got notices from Hasbro that things were coming.
It's quite handy.
Galavtron arrived today and I'm thrilled to report that it's the correct shoulders version. A.) this is the first I'm aware of outside of in-store Target and B.) there's hope for all of us.
I also received him with correct shoulders! Can’t wait to pop him open and return the messed up one I’ve been holding on to from Target.
I also received my Galvatron today with the correct shoulders. Hopefully their entire stock from this flash sale has them.
Ditto correct Galvatron from GameStop!
Also saw three in store yesterday (at Target, but still noteworth) and all were fixed.
Wonder if it was just the early batches that were wrong and most going forward should be fine.
This gives me hope for when my flash sale Galvatron shows up tomorrow!
Apparently, it's not Slag, but rather GS Transmutate. Slag is awaiting to be fulfilled, and also tied up Galvatron. Argh!
So GS shipped everything but their shipping estimates have all been wrong and the drip drip drip one extra day again and again is more frustrating than just listing late this week from the beginning.
They can hardly be blamed for FedEx being FedEx.
I know. I’m just venting. I get that I’m one of the luckier ones in that my stuff shipped just frustrating to think “hey, I get to check this out later today” only for it to be the next day and then the day after that.
