Yep. I’ve been waiting for this one, as well as the spark armor Shockwave, and tiny turbo changers Shockwave.
Yup, thought the Ultra Class release was the best version, but this looks like this will easily replace that one. Although the vomiting flames gimmick is still fun to mess with.
Hasbro wouldn't make them if there wasn't a market for them. It's been five years now since this style of play was introduced into the brand.
I begrudgingly add this Cyberverse stuff to the Shockwave shrine. The Tiny Turbo Changer is at least fun looking.
While the one-step looks, questionable, I actually thought the other Cyberverse ones were actually pretty decent.
The Ultra class or whatever it was was the best to me. Especially if you modified the arm to move more.
I didn’t end up modifying anything, I usually don’t. I figure he actually has the same, if not slightly better, articulation as Energon Shockblast, so good enough for me.
People that like it. Also I heard this rumor that these toys are actually primarily made for and bought by kids, wild stuff.
I've seen parents get these in a shop only for their kid to actually take it back... I mean, that Optimus and other half-transforming things are worst offenders, but all of these are just awful. As a kid I would have absolutely hated them. As someone else upthread said, Hasbro is underestimating kids' intelligence...
I could see that happening. but for my experience i feel like they just like anything fun, some can be picky tho
