I don't know if this is the correct place to put this or not but I noticed that Comixology is having a sale on some of the Transformers graphic novels on digital. I couldn't find anything about an official sale but a lot of them are discounted.

Can anyone explain why MTMTE TPBs are so insanely priced nowadays?

I never got Vol 7-10, and now looking at eBay, people are asking more than it would cost to buy 2 HC collections. For these prices, I might as well sell my entire Phase 2 TPB collection and just buy the HC...

 

My guess is good ol’ classic supply and demand. The HC were crazy priced year to two years ago but the reprint brought them down to decent prices

 

Yeah, pretty much the entire series is in print and available at CheapGraphicNovels (only 3 or 4 out of the 18 volumes from Phases 1 and 2 aren't in stock).

I found a good deal on Vol 11 on eBay...probably just going to convert the collection to HC at this rate. No sense paying $250+ for 4 TPBs when I can get 7 HC volumes collecting more for that price.

And the people on eBay are hilarious...still trying to sell mediocre condition HC books for more than they cost brand new at a place like CGN.

 

Cheap graphic novels is the best, eBay sellers can be whack. Saw a guy selling Venomnibus for $1 but $650 shipping
