Hello! I live in Japan, close to Tokyo but must admit, I do most of my TF shopping on Japanese Amazon, E-hobby, Rakuten etc, i.e. online. However, it is always entertaining to visit the Mandarake stores of Tokyo, there´s three of them here; one in Akihabara, one in Nakano and one in Shibuya. Info and maps here; Store Information - MANDARAKE Mandarake is a mecha for vintage (and newer) toys and figurines, and with some luck you might stumble across some real TF rarities... Also, just check out the toy sections of the big electronics stores; Yodobashi Camera (there´s a huge one in Akihabara by the station), Bic Camera, etc. Right now a lot of Transformers Go! Including the Japan exclusive swordbots are going pretty cheaply (in Yodobashi Camera you can even try playing with them before you buy them), as well as nice metallic-painted FOC figures... I don´t know a whole lot of other Tokyo-based stores for TF, though, hopefully there are other, more experienced members on this forum that can fill out the gaps for you...
