Cybertron Hardtop turns into a vehicle that has no hardtop. Cybertron Brushguard turns into a vehicle that has no brush guard. ROTF Rollbar turns into a vehicle that (presumably) has no roll bar.
Hound doesn't turn into a dog. Bumblebee doesn't turn into an insect. Optimus Prime is not the first or the best.
Bonecrusher faces dejection with every waking moment as he again remembers he is a bone crusher in a species without bones.
More then likely it was they needed a new name & the guy just grabbed a car related term/word & gave it to the character having no idea about the car's engine type.
Ratbat bears no resemblance to a rat. Ironhide is unlikely to have any iron parts. Banzai-tron is just silly. Windbreaker doesn't actually break wind. Zap is a cooler name anyway.
Well, there's never been anything to confirm or deny whether or not Windbreaker is a fart factory or not...
Bludgeon uses a sword, a weapon that makes slashing and piercing motions. Some swords were used to crush opponents (namely greatswords), but that was something European knights did... not samurai, which Bludgeon blatantly is.
His name fits, actually. As far as his IDW incarnation goes, his actions always have world-changing consequences; cause and effect... shockwaves.
Sludge; has he ever used any kind of sludge-based abilities? Will he not spew corrosive sludge over his foes or contaminate their Energon supply with sludge?!?! Oh Sludge, why?
