Well, what odd recipes do you all have? Mine is scrambled eggs + shredded cheese + a small bit of mayo = Egg Surprise.
Bologna and cheese taco. Bologna and cheese cutlets(basically bologna cut up into bit and microwaved with cheese on top). Any time we have turkey, I put turkey, an olive or two, and cranberry sauce on a dinner roll and eat it that way.
This could be good with mealworms... Bread Mars Bar. Deep fry breaded Mars Bar. Dip deep-fried Mars Bar in english-style fish & chips curry dip. Experience Nirvana.
I got pissed one night, and cut myself up some vintage cheddar and coated it with choc-hazelnut spread.....even sober it tasted far better than it had any right too.
I've heard of people adding caesar or ranch dressing before, but yeah, that seems pretty much the same reasoning. How does it affect the consistency? The people who I knew added the creamy dressings to get more of a "potato salad" texture, and used them as a more flavorful substitute for mayo or heavy cream.
Mealworms would work great because you wouldn't have to cut them up into small pieces like you have to do with the earthworms.
Two slice of bread of choice. One side, peanut butter. The other side, your choice of fruit preservative/jam/jelly. Combine the two haves with the spreads facing inwards. Consume. Enjoy this secret recipe.
I'll do ceasar now and then, but ranch is a bit much. I just add it for the tang, I don't add enough to make them runny or anything.
You ever try leaving the peels on the potatoes (but cutting them a bit smaller before boiling, of course) while you add dressings? I'm curious as to what effect they would have. I like leaving the peels on sometimes when I use garlic and butter in the mash. Another odd ingredient choice? Chunky Peanut Butter on a burger. Sounds crazy, but makes a lot of sense when you think about it, and tastes awesome, especially if you also add bacon and/or apple slices.
I improvise a lot, when the money nears it's end and there's still plenty of month left. But I don't remember a lot right now. Well, ketchup on toast is ok When there is nothing else left to eat, that is.
