I don't see why he should have the combiner gimmick, either. This figure is great because they didn't force an unnecessary gimmick on him.

Why would any third party need to try this at a non-Masterpiece level? This ticks off pretty much every box it needs to.

Well, he doesn\'t look bad, but has some really weird things going on with the legs... Like, why does both forms have knees that just hang in the air? There is a giant gap in both Punch and Counterpunch form there, where you can see inside. I understand the knee needs to bend both ways plus rotate back to the car back, but still...
Odd \'cause otherwise, the top parts of the robot mode look nice. The fist are smartly done and the head molds look great. I wish he took photos of the back too - I hope you can cover the Con/Bot symbols on his back in both robot modes.
Still wondering though why he has a fake car window chest. That part could have been the car mode\'s window, making him a cybertronian car.

 

I think they did a nice job and the right price. I would around $79.99 for a MP with all the bells and whistles.

 

He looks great. Not sure how i'm going to display him or if i should pick up a second one

The gap in his knees is kinda gross but eh the rest of him looks awesome. And I love that car mode!

I ordered 2 just for that very reason. Have one of each displayed; one as an Autobot and one as a Decepticon.  

 

I'm kind of surprised we haven't had a 3P version yet TBH

I've ordered two so if I DO cave on picking up the Siege line I can display him with both factions.

The only thing I could think of to criticize is why did he get the combiner fist part instead of a black weapon for counter punch. Is the combiner fist part a unique mold to the figure? I have not purchased ANY of the Power of the Primes deluxe figures, which is why I am asking. It looks like as part on the car, like some kind of added booster jets.
